So...

Player A buys 1000 bonds and sells them to player B.

Player A now has 7bil, or W.e the value is.

Player C did not purchase any bonds to sell.

Player A now has an ingame advantage over Player C due to Irl wealth.

Good job Jagex..

Player A would still not have the skills and XP required to use any items they may have traded bonds for. Nor will the player have the knowledge of the game to be able to use those items most effectively. The player will still have to invest their time in the game to increase their XP and to learn how, or where, is best to use the items.

Player C may well still be more successful than Player A depending on their experience and time spent within RuneScape.

In addition to this your Player B who has purchased the bonds is able to gain membership, additional spins, or RuneCoins by purchasing those bonds.

your logic is out the window, let's say i'm player A, i'm more than capable of spending the money efficiently. Your replies in this matter are void, as if you're using a new player as an example.

Why is it a problem to you guys that some rich kid buys bonds? I don't care if someone buys gp with irl money. This just means that now you can buy runecoins/membership/spins with in-game money and you don't ever need to spend any money on runescape again. Ever. Seems like a good deal to me.

but you can't buy it for in-game money, someone has to buy the bonds with real money first. either way, real money is spent.

I will ask my question again.......If you use a bond for membership when you go back to paying for it month to month will it be at the current rate instead of my "grandfather" rate?

only one way to find out :p
jk, I think it won't reset as long as you keep paying for the other one.

What i dont understand is how jagex have the cheek to say this isn't rwting:

Buy bonds with rl gp
Sell bonds seconds later for rs gp

Its not exactly the same, as there is no new money created through the bonds. Jagex does not add 10m to the game economy in coins, but only something else, that you could have bought with money either way.

I see people believe that Jagex introducing real world trade.
Let me argue with you that you might be wrong those trades are there already, and many people get scammed, lose their accounts and others "lucky ones" get that advantage over "player C" , as in example before my post.

I was suggesting this idea for quite some time, and massive games Such EvE online are doing that successfully for years.

Personally, I only see a less dangerous path for gaining membership - less surfing web and looking for black-markets, or filling surveys that just fills your email with spam. In fact, players will play the game. Or ad least money will go to our game developers pockets rather "gold farmers".

I am all in for this suggestion, and I am supporting jagex on this move.

Thank you for reading this

Spin it any way you want to, redneck. Jagex = lies.

This is now a pay to win game.

You have stepped in a huge pile of **** this time.

Using bonds for membership will not affect your grandfathered rate. They are no different to any other method of increasing the length of your membership.

However, if you allow your membership to lapse for more than 7 days then you will lose this reduced membership rate.
