hm...i usually would think of this as ridicoulus, but taking on account the previous problems with rwt, i think it's better this way, also, i think a new advantage is that you can just buy the bond from some1 else with your cash and reedem for membership or something, i think it kind of helps since u can turn effort into membership, tough, it would still be a weird balance not recomended to anyone with not easy Access to M's in the game, btw, something not exactly related but, when i try to enter from my internet browser, i'm told i need somethign called "Axeso 5" but i don't want an account for that, i only want to play the game, even when i try to enter the fórums it asks for it, i just managed to get in here by random luck =/ anyone knows what i can do, coz it doesn't seems the main information pages on the site has any info about it =/

I am disappointed that Jagex has gone into the gold selling business. I have cancelled my membership.

It was bad enough when the criminals sold gold, now the police are.
Jagex are not selling gold and have no intention of doing so.

Jagex are not introducing additional gold into the economy by allowing the purchase of bonds which selling gold would have done.

Bonds are like any other in-game item in that they can be traded between players or on the Grand Exchange for the value that a player deems the bond to be worth to them.

Anyone buying gold is because resources are so hard to gather and the good armors are hard to get. Plain and simple Gold = experience or that cool armor to go show off to your friends.



That's the point. Killing monsters, gathering resourses, selling them for millions is the best part in game. Nothing is more interesting than that. If you buy money for Real Life cash, the game wont be fun anymore.

Lol rwt is here, jagex basically selling money.

It's such a shame, oh well we all know this would come jagex trying to scrape as much money out of the players as possible.

Still jagex the little respect i still had for you has completely gone now

I don't know how to feel about this. Another microtransaction... but will it really have its intended effects?

I miss the old days when all we had to worry about was when our membership expired. Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.

Guess gold farming is why so many players were willing to pay up to 1k per divining energy. Wondered about that. I don't see how bonds will fight the desire of players to have easy funds for things such as that. I hope it does but can't help having my doubts.

Again I hope Jagex does win the fight.

Players can buy bonds from Jagex with money and trade them in for gold in the GE.

That means players can buy gold from Jagex.
