What happens if a player buys a bond that has been bought by a goldseller with stolen credit card data, or sells a bond to a player who pays in farmed gold?

Is there any danger for the honest player?

How could you possibly know that 40-50% of the player base engages in RWT by buying gold
because they just need a helping hand?
Do you have a direct line of inquiry with these players? The bottom line is that they engage in RWT.

Your biggest mistake is to not have banned these players outright and immediately .
The excuses for their transgressions are irrelevant
. And, creating this elaborate money-sink bond item to keep them in the fold only serves to exacerbate the cancer you have allowed to remain in the host. The host will surely die.

I am appalled to learn that 1 out of every 2 people with whom I play a game will be given a cloak of rehabilitation, amnesty if you will, for breaking the rules in the most egregious way possible. Thank you for showing me the extent of corruption, dishonesty, and filth that exists within the game and the company as a whole, even though I suspected it as such for many months now.

Alright, let's do some calculation: You can buy 5200 runecoins in total from solomons general store for 80€.
You can get 160 runecoins from 1 bond that's 4,25€

5200÷80 = 65 (65 runecoins per euro)
160÷4,25 = 37,647 (around 38 runecoins per euro)

Within Solomons general store if you buy the best offer you get 65 runecoins per euro, while on bonds you only get less than 38 runecoins.

Even if you buy Runecoins for 3,99€ (worst offer) you get around 50 of runecoins per euro.

Solution: I think you should make Bonds more cheap.

Claiming that this isn't pay to win...is at best ridiculous. Player A Purchases a bond for money and sells it for gold...then repeats. Is this not changing real world money for gp? Please enlighten me.

The introduction of bonds into the game is not making the game pay to win.

A player who has invested time in game that has increased their XP and skills and who has developed the knowledge within the game to use items most effectively is still going to be able to be more successful than a player who has simply traded a bond for an item but doesn't have the same level of knowledge or skill levels.

I hope "developed knowledge within the game" does not refer to using flowers and dice to run gambling operations and squirrel away untold wealth in the year and a half Jagex refused to do anything to stop it. I also hope it does not refer to insider information being leaked to a privileged few like the leaking of the Super September challenge list or how to exceed the Battle of Lumbridge daily tear limit without consequence.

I am very skeptical of this change and have a feeling it will make the playing experience for the average rule abiding player much worse. It will definitely provide the organized gamblers a tremendous reward for their hidden wealth.

This is why I don't believe bonds will work: For starters if bonds only will sell for 8m tops then less people will likely buy the bonds and sell for rsgp. therefore the people buying the bonds with there rsgp to use is going to make the bonds be used up faster so my thought to make it fair on everyone is to just make bonds 1 set price where no1 can sell for more making people buy them irl for the rsgp and also helping the economy in the long run.

More successful.....is not answering my question. So your answer basically said that even though we are going to sell gold now thru bonds if you know how to make gold within the game you will be more successful :D . Answer my question please.... Is this not changing real world money for gp? I can't make millions of gold within secs and im almost maxed, How long will the transaction take to purchase bonds and dump them on ge for gold....within secs.

There were two parts to the question - the first was how is this update is not pay to win which hopefully I've already answered for you.

The second part of your question I'm actually a little unsure on what you mean. When you purchase a bond you are buying an item in game that can be used for a number of purposes - membership, spins, or runecoins. This item also functions like any other on the Grand Exchange and in trades with other players. It may be, for example, that you decide because you can make a lot of gold with your experience and knowledge of the game that you wish to purchase bonds from other players for additional spins.
