Please explain why a gold buyer would rather buy bonds than buy from a goldfarmer? Especially if the goldfarmer can offer a cheaper price per GeePee? lack of malware/hackers/viruses/scams?
Is that the only reason you can give. All that tells me is:

"We couldn't stop RWT so we decided to RWT ourselves." lol you do understand that the only rwt jagex was ever concerned with was 3rd parties ILLIGILY selling THERE COPYRIGHTED MATRIAL and making money off of there OWN game please pull your head out of your ass before you speak next time

So, has anyone else realised this could very easily make bots worse?

Gold Farmer company uses their bots to make cash. They use cash to buy bonds. They then sell the bonds on their websites to other players, allowing players to buy membership for less than a regular membership fee.

It all begin with SOF and now you will be able to purchase gold with RL money. I am sad to see Runescape end this way!

to me, the only mistake was making it tradable...that's literally the only flaw in the bond system...

I really like this update, but only because of the membership aspect.
I've never really been able to buy membership efficiently in the country I live in, so this will most likely help me a lot :)

But I pretty much see this as "Legal" RWT through Jagex. That's the only thing that I'm not 100% for, but, oh well.. Can't get all right.

Thanks, and I hope that nobody uses this update in a bad way, just like many other updates.

Well, seems as RsGp sells for around about 30-40p per million... and 1 bond is 3 quid ... 1 month membership is 6 quid... i think i'll be safe to say that 1 bond will be selling for about 6-8m for this to actually work. the reward for 1 bond isnt really enough. now if they turned around and said you can trade x bonds in for armor / weaponry that scales with your level (to level 77) it would make it far more rewarding... rather than 8 spins... or 150 rune coins. the membership isnt really an issue for most unless they genuinely can't afford it - but will people be willing to part with 5m + for 14 days of membership if they're a free player, that will mostlikely be the majority of their bank.
