Started to notice bots reappearing at all the dragons - need to get rid of them since these are the same ones the bonds are supposed to get rid of gold farming bots.
Let me explain it for you:
They are now farming the gold to buy the bonds from the GE, which they then sell on their sites for real cash (and they throw in the geepee to pay the 10% ''tax'' to make it tradeable again)

This seems like a idea for free players to get membership however, how does this even hit gold farmers? Makes no sense especially with a price of a bond in the first place, I see no hit on this at all to be honest..

Jagex new policy:

"We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape from third party sites . If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for the company . We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape unless you buy from us ."

I get the point of the bond, But I'm still STRUGGLING with the FACT that JAGEX is aware of these players; a very large portion of the player base (40%-50%) of whom buy gold!!, yet deciding to create bonds, and not to punish them...

It's really frustrating to be honest. I have been a loyal paying member since I started playing. Becoming a true to the word "do it yourselfer". Saving every penny I earned and collecting resources for skills rather then buying them. Everything I own in game I earned, and spent a lot of my LIFE obtaining.

I knew the number of players buying gold was high, but to find out that half of today's player base (40%-50%) has or continues to buy gold from these sites is truly disheartening and they are the reason why these sites continue to prevail.

I am aware of the amount of time, energy, and resources Jagex as a company has spent on combating bots and real world traders.
That is why I feel Jagex should be dealing out a Harsh Punishment. CONSEQUENCES! There should be disciplinary action taken against those that decide to cheat.

Seriously Jagex needs to make a STAND not just against the companies but ALSO, against the PLAYERS. RWT wouldn't be an issue without those continuing to purchase gold In Jagex words " For a helping hand "...

Final Thoughts:
More needs to be done to those that are buying the Gold. I would like to see Harsh Punishments for those that are deciding to buy gold instead of playing the game!!
