Before you send Jagex a message, I suggest enabling the Authenticator. The JMods can see this, and it will be easier for Jagex to disable JAG for you if they know that your account is already secured by the Authenticator.
Well, I am one of those frustrated players who has had to contact customer service last night about the JAG.
I purchased myself a new laptop as I work out of town a couple of days a week, and figured I'd be able to play RuneScape from my hotel room to help pass the time. Unfortunately, last night when I went to log in the first time, I was locked out by the JAG.
Despite having entered my pass, and my current authenticator pin, I didn't think anything of it really... I figured, wow, my account is REALLY secure... but then came the issues.
First, I did not receive an e-mail from JAG, even though I have received e-mails from it in the past. To fix this I added ll the @jagex and @runecape e-mails to my safe senders list. When that didn't seem to work I waited about an hour and requested another e-mail be sent - still nothing...
Now I wake up this morning pleasantly surprised to see the e-mail has finally arrived - only to find out the link has expired "for security purposes"...

Long story short, despite all the effort I put in to being able to play the game and pass the time up here, all my time was spent trying to access my account! I still have not received a reply from customer support either.
Sigh... Very disappointed with the JAG. Once it's removed, I never want to have anything to do with it again.
I'm having the same problem as you...i woke up this morning and saw the emails from jag guardian.....iv been waiting for a whole day now and haven't had any reply.
@JagexSupport just tweeted that Jagex is having some issues with JAG emails. You can either wait for this to be resolved, or contact Jagex as mentioned in my post at the top of this page for further help.
how am i to disable my runescape authenticator? my phone memory got whipped out and i cant seem to log in to runescape because of the code needed...pls help me out
and i cant seem to receieve any email regarding this when i try to disable it but i do receieve emails if i want to change ******** or other stuff.
is it me or is anyone else going through the same issue?
Sharven u should be able to download the app via the app store all smart phones have a app store it should be some ware in mine windows phone it is called store . in the menu . . there are 2 of them . Google and Microsoft .

Got an Iphone 6. All apps are reseted including authenticator. (Can't access authenticator!)
In the support center it says to disable & re-enable authenticator to log in & make it in use again. Unfortunately, it claims that it has sent an email to the registered email account to disable it, but i'm not recieving any emails :'(. Someone pls help me!!!! :'(
P.S. Yes, I am checking the right email.... I tested it by clicking on the "change pass + word (no spaces(it stars the word if no spaced)." I received an email for that, but nothing for authenticator! :'(
