hate to jagex they always come with thing to scrue thing up for players like me who have putting mut** money in there acound i buyed manny bonds and many spins and i buyed even a gold member package becouse i liked this game it is a therapy for me to keep me calm when i have a scool day behind my back i liked this game so mut*h and what do i ged for it (stench for grathfull) in the dutch ( proverb) :@ :( :@ :(

You will see that screen when you next log in to the game. There is a checkbox next to the box where you type the code in.

Why not keep JAG?

We don't make a RuneScape Authenticator app for any devices because there are so many compatible apps already available made by other companies. Try looking for Google Authenticator if you are on iOS or Android.

No - JAG is still active and will remain active for several weeks. We won't be turning it off until we are sure as many people as possible are able to use Authenticator and have signed up.

Pathetic...I don't understand who thought of this genius idea of leaving all players who don't have smartphones unprotected.

Click "Code won't scan?" and you'll see a text version of the barcode instead. Type that into your phone and you'll be set up.

You don't need a data connection on your phone once you've done the initial setup.

Please check the time on your phone is set correctly. It's not related to time zones, probably just that your phone is a few minutes out compared to the current time.

I tried a couple of times and it's still telling me it's incorrect. The line below telling me to check the clock on my phone is set to the correct time...what does it mean by that? Do i have to set my clock to UK timezone for it to work? I'm in Australia.

This update doesn't allow us to see or access your mobile phone number. No data is transferred to us from your phone. The 6 digit code your phone generates is a combination of an identifier for your account and the current time.

This is correct - the code changes every 30 seconds - you just need to type the one on your phone's screen at the time you try to log in.

You don't have to remember any codes - just always type whatever is on your phone's screen when you try to log in. Mod Rascasse

There is an app available for Windows Phone and it should work on the Lumia 520 - there's a link to it on the page when you set up Authenticator for the first time. Mod Rascasse

just great a update we didn't vote on and no we won't have JAG there is a lot of flaws in this since as stated in other posts not everyone has a smartphone and what happens if the phone is lost and stolen if anything JAG was easier and helped a lot of players from hackers now you taking it away without even a poll power to the players.......right keep JAG as everyone or most players like it the odds of JAGEX reading this slim to none but thought i type anyway.

Don't want it. Don't need it. Can't use it. ( dont have smart phone) I like JAG just fine please don't take it away. This is fine for anyone who wants it, but you shouldn't force the rest of us to use it. It should be an OPTION.
