How can the authenticator be safer if all you have to do is log into m account on the runescape page to set up the authenticator then any smartphone can take a picture of the code and get the 6 digit code ? And JAGEX ! NOT EVERYONE HAS A SMARTPHONE !!!! JAG HAS KEPT MY ACCOUNT SAFE EVER SINCE IT CAME OUT ! NO ONE HAS EVER EVEN TRIED TO LOG IN MY ACCOUNT EVER SINCE JAG CAME OUT BECAUSE IT'S BASICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ACCESS TO BOTH MY ACCOUNT AND MY EMAIL AND MY QUESTIONS ... DON'T TAKE AWAY SOMETHING THAT HAS KEPT MILLIONS OF ACCOUNTS SAFE FOR YEARS AND HAS BEEN WORKING WELL !

Actually, why don't you guys poll it ??????????? you polled legacy , we should be able to vote on what we think will keep our accounts safer ! POWER TO THE PLAYERS ! HAH! WHAT PLAYERS IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT AND LOST ALL YOUR STUFF YOU EARNED OR WORKED FOR ? Please poll it .

A lot of people don't even know about the authenticator they just assume their account is protected by JAG and don't even pay attention to this new type of security .. Which would and could allow anyone into your account .

fed up with authenticator now, i click the save for 30 days box and low and behold 2 days later it asks for another code, so then i have to go hunt my phone down, wish i never had activated it now. please give us the option to use either jag or authenticator.
