hey guys with this update are they now putting you in friends chat last visited while in lobby? cannot find anything at all about it...would be nice if someone could point me in right direction about it.

There's basically no point in using the app for me since I've been permanently muted for over 11 months. Its a good update though, but I can't utilize it :(

You seriously blew the ball on this one on stupidity as you cut out your audience with such stupid design decisions. You also blew the ball on not utilizing web 3g/4g on phones to connect to the internet = your only reason for your app to be browser based.

You missed out on expanding your audience w/ app store advertisement, but i guess you figured you'd get crap reviews (which if this is the case why release a crap product knowing it's not completed yet)?

Have you even used it? It is written in HTML5, it is cross-platform, however some of the features the app requires (web sockets over worker threads) are only supported in Safari and Chrome at the moment.

It can be used quite happily over 3g/4g, and finally, it's not even related to a mobile version of the RuneScape website - it provides chat functionality for people wishing to talk with their in-game friends and clan mates.

We are borrowing a lot from the main game client I'm afriad. Hopefully in the months ahead we can trim this down and get something a bit lighter on the ram!

Idk about how it looks on a phone, but maybe a small scroll bar would be good, even if its just for letting you know how far down you went on a phone. And if theres a proper way, maybe some names list when youre chatting would be nice? So you can see someone joining and say Hi before they do :p My ideas dump thread
