Useless. I don't use Chrome on my desktop, since Runescape runs faster on Firefox. I don't have a high end smartphone. I have an Huawei Ascend 6300 with ICS. I can run chrome there but I can't get the companion running. This app is a waste of time and useless... When you guys talked about an app, I was realling hopping for an android apk compatible with all devices, not just a simple webpage, that can only be used (like everything else from runescape) on Chrome...

Not everyone here use chrome, Windows or has a high end smartphone. Some of us actually use Linux, Firefox and cheap android phones. Respect that and make a decent product for a change.

The App is okay . For an initial release, certainly it's alright. I've tried using the Companion App on 3 platforms (laptop, iPad and phone) to varying results. On my laptop (Sony Vaio model), the Companion App doesn't seem to load at all. I'm not sure if I'm the only one with such a problem but it's certainly something that needs to be looked into. My iPad (Air model) seems to be working quite well. There's bugs here and there, such as not being able to see/write any text once I've sent a Private Message without having to restart the Web-App. I haven't tried the App on my phone (iPhone 5 model) in a while, but initially it was insanely glitchy and really unusable. At least, that's my input and experience anyway. I didn't exist in your reality until you read this sentence.

The app is awesome.

I have only used it on chrome. I have been introduced to the app since my membership run out on this acc (I still have to renew, my current financial situation does not allow it :\).

There could be some more features included, since it's an app to keep in touch with friends in game and communication.
- Guest clan chat, ability to guest a cc when in companion
- The world icon says Lobby in-game, it would make sense to change that it dosplays companion icon and text
- The user options could be more extensive. I like the simplicity of the app but more customization options wouldn't hurt
- Clan chat, ability to mute/kick/ban from the app for higher ranks
- There still is some fixes to be done, the most irritating to me is that when I switch from chat to other tab - and back, chat always goes back to top where old messages are displayed. I would like to see the newer ones at the bottom when I switch

Other than that, great app. Hope I helped with some suggestions for app development.

What a great app! I would really like to see the ability to put-in/take-out offer in the GE added to the app.

On my laptop, I can either log into the app or into the game, but not both at once. I was really hoping this was going to let me use the separate window for chatting. Half the time I try to speak in RS, I forget that the abilities bar is open and the stuff I type messes up my setup because the letters I'm typing perform actions. On the benign side, "m" opens up the map. That's usually the point at which I realize I've done it yet again!. So I had high hopes of chatting in a side window.

Any chance it could be made to work that way?

Okay, so I loved this idea, I mean it meant I could still talk to my clan mates while i was unable to play and had no other means to communicate with them. Great idea, however…

I was hoping it would be an app on the App Store for android and iOS, however it is not, possibly an idea that may come to life future down the line, would be great if so.
Now the issues, I use an iPhone 4S and when I go to use the online version on my phone, we get freezes, crashes of safari and google chrome. I always added it onto the home screen as an app, this stopped the crashing issue, however it presented many other issues:
1) It would randomly glitch out from when I was within clan chat trying to return to the home menu to select another option, it would end up overlapping the two making the app unusable needing a reset.
2) The chat would glitch underneath the keyboard and the option to select the keyboard, which would make it impossible to read the newest message until after 3 other messages had been sent.
However do not get me wrong this is a great idea and I am sure it will have a great use in future and hope the production of it continues.
