Didn't expect this one, I may drop RS in 2014, so it's not as direct of a decision as last year. The rewards look great though; I don't understand why so many people are whining about runecoins when you can buy them with bonds. "True nobility is exempt from fear."

sir Jon some people are not blind to the fact that runescape use to be a good game that wasn't full of gimmicks trying to pull every cent it could from the player base.

I am so glad I haven't been a member for 2 months now I have a ps4 and I'm loving it I come back to see if runescape has changed to they way it once was a good game with good people that cared about there players and not just about making more money.

This new deal is just another way to sucker people in to a failing game. Fix your game jagex. Oh and by the way there was a previous post of jagex doing monthly memberships on amazon for 3.99 for a week so it's nice that they do deals with amazon but when it comes to you guys there player base they will sucker you with some gimmicks and charge you double....

They are laughing all the way to the bank don't fall for these cheap shiny gimmicks runescape is dead and will continue to die by that I mean declining player base and declining updates till this game is unplayable which for many it already is.

I totally agree, how can people say it's a rip off when they have no idea what will be freely available with the package as of 2014. Even if it is only 2 promotional items available normally via purchase of green game card it would compensate the extra few £/$ for this Premier package. It's all down to personal taste, if you don't like pets, overides etc then don't buy it, if you do then enjoy and stop giving so much negativity.

To be honest, the difference between gold and silver isn't as great for me this year as I've already got 2013 promo items. If this seems to a regular offer now then next year they'll offer the items for 2014/2015...
The 100k extra loyalty points isn't worth it, I'd probs miss them Q&A's and I'm not interested in the other stuff. The difference to me is the extra spin for 6 months instead of 12, but that's not that big a deal as I don't care about the SOF and I've not gotten anything great from it anyways. I'd rather use the money I save in the difference to buy Runecoins :P (If I can still afford the luxury that is)

Not that the people themselves using VIP worlds or badges bother me (I wouldn't use either if I were to buy the package), but I am having trouble understanding how Jagex segregates one member from the next. Why is a 1 month, 3 month or 6 month member not considered a VIP but a 12 month member is? Wow, way to come through as shallow. "Hey, buy this and we'll reward you with a 'badge of snobbiness'."
