Wow, this is not what I expected at all. What happened to all the -amazing- benefits of last year?

-RuneCoins
-Exclusive armour override
-Guaranteed Beta Access
-At the same price of 12 months of membership

Those were the four reasons I -really- felt that the gold package was worth it. I actually felt that I got a good deal and I was really excited when I heard there was going to be another Premier Club this year. I can honestly say that I haven't been this disappointed since the Climbing Boots incident, thus I will not buy any package this year untill either the price goes down to what it was last year, or something better gets added.

Isn't it an option to give the 2013 Premier Club members a RuneCoin bonus to make up for the fact that we already have all the 2012 and 2013 cosmetics? I think that way you'll keep last year's members satisfied while still offering a good and worthwhile pack for both new Premier Club members and last year's members.

That said, I -am- looking forward to the coming year, but looking at my play habits, I think it'll be more cost-effective for me to buy a month when I feel like playing, rather than buying a gold package up front and feel I can play when I want without having to fork over some money every month.

Ok even I agreed that the prices where not the best, but I gotta say for such loyal players your bashing them pretty hard.. Lets do a run down

Not really as bad as one might think if there a pet person.

Now this, this is good. Why? Still the chance for something epic and you never know what they will add.

I do agree that it could divide the players more but its still a nice thing to have access to.

I have no option on this.

I rarely if ever post on forum to really care about this.

This like the spins is also good. Why? Again we don't know what they will do next year.


Now are we getting cheated, ripped off and other not so fun stuff? No we're not and here why, They told us from the start what it will cost and what we'll get and what we could get(sort of). Also lets really do they math say we get about 3-4 promo items next year that's about 25.00(US) a pop and 365 extra spins that's over 200.00(US)
And a year of membership..Hmm after looking over all this I don't think we should bash them as hard or much as we have been. But hey what do I know.

I planned to purchase Gold Premier membership as I regretted missing it last year. I also was going to purchase it for a friend for Christmas. I will now be doing neither. I hope you make the package either more attractive before Janruary 31st or better next year. You are giving people the option to pay more for less, that is bad for business. I usually stick by with you guys, but not this time sorry.

Like last time, I strongly agree that RuneCoins should be rewarded instead of loyalty points (or a combo of both in decreased quantities). The fact that more than half of Solomon's Store is RuneCoin exclusive and that Auras/some cosmetics are the only things purchasable with Loyalty... it's just a bit on the short side to give us Loyalty points.


I'm still running on last year's Gold membership, and I enjoyed having that extra 2k RuneCoins for the time being. It was nice until I spent it - only to find out that better items were available later for RuneCoins.

£35 last year, and £52.50 this year ?!?!? thats an increase of £17.50 ! 50% !!??!!

Let alone the lack of ruenspan coins etc....

I think I will just go back to my previous membership rate (as agreed by Jagex when asked in numerous threads last year) of £3.20 a month making it £38.40 a year. At least that way if there is no improvement I can cancel my subscription.
