Jagex doesn't care if you play or not, they only care about you renewing your membership. As long as they have enough players renewing their membership, they'll still make money, and they won't shut down the servers.

My fiance and myself bought the gold package last year, spending a lil extra then we would normally, since we have been members continuously since forever.. Al the bonus cosmetics are blah.. but the extra spin was attractive, and still is even though I never get anything good and the runecoins clinched it. Now we will have to pay an other like 10 euros on top without the coins..
That is paying 40 bucks more a year, UPFRONT, for the 2 of us then we have to pay to get 365 spins a person we do not absolutely need..

Lets just say this: Jagex, make us a better offer, because this one is not convincing.

Yeah, you're right. Most of the players on Runescape nowadays are not noobs, they're veterans, people who have been playing since [insert year here]. They're not attracting new players to the game. ·

Yeah, you're right. Most of the players on Runescape nowadays are not noobs, they're veterans, people who have been playing since [insert year here]. They're not attracting new players to the game.

The younger generation are all on consoles now. Maybe if Jagex could get RuneScape going on a console it might have a chance in hell.

Just another scheme thought up by the greedy people running jagex

First sof
then sol
then bonds
then the well which god knows how much they make off that since people donate bonds which have to be bought
now vip worlds and a bunch of gimmicks to sucker some more fools into the horrible game that was ruined by eoc

So what I'm saying is the more you guys keep feeding the pig for it's greedy ideas or the more hungry the pig gets because the smart people aren't feeding it either way the pig wants to eat more and more because the pig is a fat greedy idiot who only cares about himself being the pig he is.

Not surprised there offering pigs just to show you what they are and see how many idiots by it from them like wowwwwww this community's taste in games is horrible compared to how great this game use to be it's astonishing to me.

It's surprising how many older players don't even use the forum though, they continue to play the game what ever happens, just because they are maxed or almost maxed.

Well with the new consoles they'll be supporting HTML 5, Jagex just needs a buffer for all the downloaded content and a controller input setup and bam, there's an Alpha for the Devs and maybe BETA for "premium" members. (oops BETA's doesn't exist this year) >_>

The Gold package costs a total of twenty-four bonds. At their current price (which is still rising), that would be more than 230,000,000gp. The overwhelming majority of the people playing this game have never had that much money at any single point in time, so it probably goes without saying that there's not much point in bringing it up. Heck, even just the Bronze package would be a very big stretch for most people.
