that is max xp/max level is to simply make either total xp limitless or do that AND make levels go past 99 (though, that might lead to controversy) I'm not a fan of having levels over 99. But if total xp didn't have a cap, then people would be able to gain and gain and the high scores wouldn't be fixed. they'd be eternally competitive and it wouldn't negatively effect people that already have the current max xp.
(I've heard things about the max xp being similar to the max item stack, being that it's that way for a particular reason, like coding. maybe if we knew more about the limitations you guys have you would get more useful suggestions.)

Technically it is limited, but they have to get around it to make prestige in the first place by storing a large amount of xp as a "credit".
Wow you listened for once. Buff the max level, redo the seasonal high score table. Make that one work like the normal hs but in 4 month time slots or something. Was an ok idea just way wrong way to pull it off. Someone is better then me just cause they got to 99 and reset when I got 200m xp in the skill? I think not.
I've already said this before, prestige was an okay idea but the implementation was weak. You needed to convert high levels players xp over so that someone with 200M xp started on the appropriate prestige, because if you didn't its a huge slap in the face to all of the most dedicated players in the game.
As for prestige system, I see many people who want 120 skills. I don't think that's a great idea. Our player base is 16+ which means either highschool, college, or working. Like myself I have to work and I don't have the time to play like i used to in middle school or early high school. I even play the game with parents, people who work AND take care of their kids. I think most people will agree that we don't have time for that. The 120 skills idea also does not make us go back to old skilling plots for instance draynor willows.
Another reason I say no to 120 is because, completionist capes will be rediculous. I personally can't see myself getting 105m exp in Agility,slayer,Farming etc. The only Idea that I have seen that I do actually like so far is the "Reward for Xp", You hit the xp target you get the special emote, clothing etc. However I do realise that will not help old content. What will make us end game players go back to willows, iron ore and smithing bronze? I honestly don't know, But I do know there is a way that 75% of our community can agree on. You can do it jagex. We have a lot of ignorant and jaded players in our community, sadly it's true. However the only reason they act this way is because they don't like bad changes to a game they played when they were kids. I find change good, no game will prosper without content change. I hope you can find a way to do this and make everyone happy.
Also about minigames, they are all mainly dead. The players obviously don't find them fun enough or the rewards don't suit them. Maybe you can also fix this with the current problem. Anyways tootles.
