And I'll stop spamming....when a new direction for runescape is taken because this prestige idea is gonna get scrapped!
Thx, if Prestige should be implemented, I do agree on the new skill cape designs to go with it. Mostly by adding a gold or black (if cape is gold or similar) roman numeral behind the skill logo, depending on the number of prestige was achieved. I will only say it once. but can be used with the opinion of others with "Quote". (once per person, or more later on. Not at every page, but 1 per 10 pages less of a spam that way.)

I thought this seemed pretty interesting. If this was the way the game was originally made I bet people would not have had a problem. I think training to 99 over and over again would probably be more fun then just high-level grinding to 200m. Why is this particular update put to a vote when it will already be optional to do it?
The system as stated in the blog had some flaws, to be sure, but I felt that it was, in general, a good idea. Given that both the blog itself and further communication indicated that this was still a work in progress, and especially given that they're putting this up to a general vote, I think we could have collectively figured out a way to make most people happy with the system. For example: Putting the two different high-scores (Prestige/Overall) in the same table/next to each other would solve the worry that one or the other would be completely overlooked.
That said, I get the feeling this is getting scrapped (depending on what exactly they mean by the result of a "No"
. Pity.
I think it is a good idea too. However, I don't agree that you should get a full reward for your XP gained past 99. To prestige you would have to gain XP as a low level player. For most skills this will be harder XP to gain. But, it doesn't look like it is going to come out anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

Many thanks for the opportunity to allow us to vote. I voted 'no' simply because I have invested so much of my time already into this game, and don't have the time to do it all over again.
The aim of Prestige was to make it entirely optional as to whether you choose to do it again and also give you the option to just 'switch back' to your stats if you got tired of re-levelling them. You wouldn't have been forced into doing it or locked into training again if you chose to do so.
This is why i voted YES. it is optional, why are people complaining? You either choose to do it or not, whats the problem? No progress is lost. such a shame, i was so excited for this.

I voted yes to have the prestige system implemented just to see some new competition be brought into the mix.
Sure you could suggest and tell Jagex to make every single skill level 120, but anyone and everyone that hit the needed XP amount for that level before you will be #1 and if they have MAX XP then #1 for good and also MAX combat level would be increased to 242 if skills are to MAX at level 120.
Though to remove the XP cap might be good it might be impossible to do with the current system, but I could be wrong as I'm only making a wild guess.
I hope it gets implemented even if I only got 4 skills at level 99 and over 13,034,431 XP and all the others at 70+ since the release of divination.
EDIT: On a side note to all of those voting no and not wanting it because they believe it could "hurt them".
It is completely and 100% optional to use the prestige system and you are not being forced to use it and if you think you are being forced into doing so then you are dead wrong.

I voted
'NO'
because I don't like prestige sistem, it has no ending, and I have invested enough hours to my skills. This will encourage unhealthy gameplay, really unhealthy. The thoery it's okay seriously but that won't happen I'm 100% sure.
The best solution is add
120
level for everything new game content for each skill, and you'll have a VERY positive response
That's what well all want new content not something from the old that already bored us, I think the most of us didn't wanted to go to the Old School or simply never returned because we don't want to start all over again, we just don't want to think that there's an option to reset our progress even tho we can actually switch it back.
But what will happen to the new bosses if we add new levels?, they will be easier that's all, it's not the end of the world, and please take note that existing weapons are tier 9 if levels raise and so our hits and everything, defence and posibly another super overload or extreme overload :o, you just have to do another bosses for us.
We wont go to vorago or GWD it'll be a waste of time for us if you create along with the levels update a new boss who is actually more powerful or more tricky to kill.
If you add the 120 levels and actually fix summoning, runescape will raise from the ashes and will became more competitive.
I'm pretty sure Jagex can implement the new 120 levels just make a poll of it.
You guys should have made a video showing how this would have worked lots of people still don't understand how it would have worked i voted yes by the way. Actually you guys should still make a video to show how it would work cause i think this would be good for the game more resources being used helping out the economy plus its optional so i don't have a problem with it.
