They're going to continue ignore this. This is how they deal with complaints, sweep it under the rug. Notice how they didn't even sticky this thread? They knew from the moment its concept came up that there would be people who felt cheated.

My flaming skull was EXCLUSIVE and a LIMITED TIME item. I had to pay more than a regular membership cost for it.

I am greatly saddened by this update. This could've been very good had they considered the players who already own most of these items from buying the extra membership like me and the wife.
I think it's worse for those of us who went out of our way to buy the specific membership cards from various locations, and even locations out of our area due to the lack of stock in the stores we live near!

I cannot wear my scary scarecrow mask whilst delving into the deep dungeons, or wield my sharply pointed barbed bow of barbedness.

Honestly I'm just going to quit posting on this thread. Nothing is coming in, I've abandoned all hope that Jagex will ever respond or fix this. Hanging in the towel, they aren't even giving a morsel of respect back to us by responding to any of these 400+ replies. They stopped reading after page 3 , now we're already at page 41 .

You also have to remember that the people at Jagex Studios need paying and recent and upcoming updates have been and will be very expensive, everything they make from the SoF and SGS all gets put back into the game via graphical, sound and content updates... But it is naive to believe you're entitled to them for free simply because they are cosmetic. It's similar to saying everyone should be given free Party Hats because they are cosmetic*
**. They haven't developed anything other than more crap to sell - there's no game substance development. NONE. And many of us ARE/SHOULD BE entitled to FREE over-rides, as we already purchased the ORIGINAL product, that was created purposefully to attempt to perform the same function, just in a less convenient way. Trying to re-sale the same package in a different (more effective) method is the same thing greedy corporates the world over have been doing, but at least their garbage is 'updated' or 'new and improved'. This is simply a Fork YOU situation.

It's NOT buyer's remorse when they tell you it's "EXCLUSIVE" and "LIMITED" - it's false advertising. End of story. There shouldn't BE any remorse if that had been the case, now should there have?

As for Mods not addressing this thread, we should all quit RS simultaneously (BOYCOTT) for a week or a month. See how that suits'm. And if any '07-Scape nitz think JAGeX isn't going to eventually roll out 'advert'/'point of sale' garbage to them sooner or later, they're sorely mistaken.
