They don't really care about us. Who we are? Their supporters! Being their supporters don't make us silly stupid people. What they are? Programmers, are people who programs. What we want? They should make kind of customization of our great gifts we got for trust them. That should be simple. Could be made by programmers like they are supposed to be. Besides, a second thought we know that Party Hat can be an item at Solomon store, why not? That would avoid any possibility to buy them for real cash.

honestly it's quite funny how they are banning the gambling or whatever you will call it. i'm not defending it, but i do see a major flaw in jagex's logic. the fact that they are removing the possibility of flower gambling, and calling it a game of chance makes me snicker. they have this squeel of garbage thing... tell me what that is jagex!?!? is that not a "game of chance"???? another part is infact this stupid soloman store. you are making people pay more money to have better privaleges in the game! it is absolutely horrific what this game is turning into!
as said before i could care less about the fact you are removing the gambling, but the reason that you are giving us, is downright idiotic. if you are going to remove "games of chance" also you should damn right remove the stupid squeel of fortune and while you are deleting pointless things from the game, may as well delete that retarted solomon store junk aswell.
all that the solomon store does is give people who have more real money a chance to have a major advantage to this game.
same goes for the squeel of fortune, richer players, or ones who have money to spend, could easily just buy stupid spins( rofl at people who actually do this) and gain a major upper hand in this game when they eventually get an extremely rare item.

... here is the problem with said logic, the sof is in fact downright horrible, but it is not as you describe a "game of chance" since you risk no items in order to play the sof, you either buy spins or else get lucky and find a ticket in-game, thus making it more of a "game of luck", since there is no loss of in-game items, unlike dicing.

I bought the premier package, but really am not concerned about these items being purchasable from Solomon's store.

I have had the advantage of the cheaper membership, 2k of Runecoins and daily extra squeal of fortune ticket and never liked the majority of the extras that came with the package anyway. (Flaming skull = Green mile film in my mind.. eww)

As so few of the old items are now in game (e.g. the Yo-Yo, Bunny ears etc) I would like to see those as an addition to either the Squeal of Fortune or Solomon's *tore if this is possible please?

Easter would be such a lovely time to get some bunny ears.

For people like me with an old renewal rate this was much more expensive than if I had simply paid for membership for a year. We were buying for the other benefits and Jagex is slowly making them pointless

I haven't really been following this topic as I have all the vanity items from buying the actual game cards, as well as I bought the Gold Premier package as it was a great deal regardless.

Has it been mentioned anywhere why they opted for cosmetic overrides rather than physical items? If they can't make the physical items unlock the cosmetic overrides then maybe having Solomon grant a physical item would be better. That is possible seeing as that is how the Achievement Banner works.

They wouldn't be able to do that because then they would be able to be sued for perjury. The only thing keeping this update actually legal is that technically only the items were Limited Edition while the overrides are permanent

I'm not fighting you on it, I'm pointing out you got more than what normal membership costs so you can't say you got ripped off really. I don't see how it relates. You got more than everyone else did for paying regular membership for only 20* extra (for some people it was even cheaper than normal membership who don't use credit cards - paybyphone/SMS/ is 11$ a month while UGC is 8$ a month). And don't tell me you don't use those extra spins daily, because you do. You support it by using them.

Either way that's not what this is about... it's about them releasing limited edition items and making them common and available to everyone forever, and having those who had them beforehand now have a lesser version of their item.

Focus on getting your problem fixed, not bringing others down with you. That isn't fair and it's immature.

I'm in support of you guys but this is just getting stupid. I know they need to make an override version for those who have the items already. We've already established their "limited edition" item promos are a scam.

Lots of rares are still available in game to buy with Runescape gp. The time it takes to earn enough gp for a rare (plus all the money spent on membership) surpasses the amount of time it took you to earn the money for 1 month of membership. They were holiday items, not promo items.

Please just stop.. We don't need even more angry players. I'd like to see this problem get resolved and make sure no one has to deal with this garbage anymore no matter what the items are.

So moderators....how much time is being dedicated to runescape content now that jagex is currently working on a new transformers game for pc that will be free to play much like runescape? And of course those who pay will get items faster than those who play free...haven't you ppl made enough money ruining runescape that now you have to make a transformers game that will totally suck because you ppl are not transformer game developers

^ I'm not saying there isn't, but people need to be realistic.. It isn't fair to bring others down with them because they got screwed over by Jagex. We should be trying to restore people's happiness in a way (or at least make them feel better about the situation), not make even more people angry. My comments were directed more at the people who are serious about selling rares on SGS ;/
