But they're clearly being satirical. If Jagex actually ever did put partyhats in the store i guarantee you that those who haven't already quit would neither like nor support the PHat overrides
They're making a point that not only does Jagex lie to us, but they're also complete hypocrites. They're trying to restore people's happiness by showing Jagex its error in the logic in the company's marketing policies

honestly it's quite funny how they are banning the gambling or whatever you will call it. i'm not defending it, but i do see a major flaw in jagex's logic. the fact that they are removing the possibility of flower gambling, and calling it a game of chance makes me snicker. they have this squeel of garbage thing... tell me what that is jagex!?!? is that not a "game of chance"???? another part is infact this stupid soloman store. you are making people pay more money to have better privaleges in the game! it is absolutely horrific what this game is turning into!
as said before i could care less about the fact you are removing the gambling, but the reason that you are giving us, is downright idiotic. if you are going to remove "games of chance" also you should damn right remove the stupid squeel of fortune and while you are deleting pointless things from the game, may as well delete that retarted solomon store junk aswell.
all that the solomon store does is give people who have more real money a chance to have a major advantage to this game. same goes for the squeel of fortune, richer players, or ones who have money to spend, could easily just buy stupid spins( rofl at people who actually do this) and gain a major upper hand in this game when they eventually get an extremely rare item.


The squeal of fortune isn't gambling. You are going to win a prize every time. You're just not going to win something awesome every time. Since there's always a prize, and you know more-or-less what you could win it's not gambling.

But several of these people complaining about the items being re-released got them from the gold pack. The gold pack itself was a re-release of these items. The main thing to be annoyed about is that we now have an inferior version, not that jagex has re-released the items.

The problem for some isn't completely about the items being that were originally suppose to be "Limited Time Only", tho I will admit it to is a big problem. For some, it's a financial problem. Those who own the physical versions now must pay more just to have the same items as skins. Its just one of the problems to arise about the SoF and SGS. Not all of this will be completely fixed (removed from the store) but we should at least get the skin for free if we already have the item.

many credit card paying member would not buy the cards to get the flaming skull turkey hat ,and felt that by being a credit card member were being snubbed with no way to obtain the items ,low and behold with a credit card you could obtain the items you lost out on with the gold package membership the jagex fix for snubbing all those members. heres your chance to get the items you credit card weilding members.and many did get the items with the gold package. ok that is fair. i wont call foul on that
but now jagex is just plain giving all who put out the extra money to get the cards and the gold package for those exclusive new items a great big finger in the face and it sure wont help build the player trust they they seem to care so much about i say make the flaming skull skin burn brown only with no recolor options none of the choices for the real flaming skull so those with it can still be the owners of an exclusive item and stand apart from the the crowd

But you see that the "main thing" is different for a lot of people. For you it might be that you have an inferior version but that's not my main concern although it is still a big one.
There is no universal main concern except the update in general.
And it's not so much that they were re-released as part of the premium package, that wasn't too big a deal because the cost to obtain them was even more than last time and it allowed people who didn't have access to the items in their country to have a chance get them, but then they made them permanent parts of the game which made everything about them being limited edition completely pointless

I really hate the fact that Jagex is re-releasing content that was already here in a different form. I'd have no problems if they changed the items to cosmetic overrides. Then the people that bought them (such as myself) would just get the overrides. Putting them into the store in a better form for people that didn't buy them/want them in the first place is just mean and idiotic. How could anyone at Jagex think this was a good idea. I swear you guys make my opinions of you change so fast. You go from releasing awesome content like the world wakes and the Solomon's stuff related to that, to releasing this garbage. I don't even know what to think anymore, I just don't.

I have been biting my tongue about sgs/sof since they were released but this is just going to far. Its bad enough that there's something new in sgs every other week but now you release a better version of something I bought thinking it was my only chance to get it. And to add insult to injury you decided not to at least give the skins for free to the people who bought these items when they were originally released...

sgs sucks and sof sucks please stop giving us more reasons to hate them
