ok we paid for the membership but we still have to pay again for the items so it stays a shame.

we have ALREADY paid for the items. It's a total injustice to make us pay for them a second time, all other issues aside.

Because they DGAF. Enough said.

As I predicted, this 'company' is PURPOSEFULLY trying to ruin its image, in order to claim 'damages' and 'insurance' for more petty money in a short time-span as opposed to stacks over a long period of time.

These people are just greedy whures - and they learned from the Queen - how to hoarde like they have a mental illness... Oh, wait a tick, it is. There's the problem right there: Mentally incompetent people are exploiting people for personal 'profit' ("money"/fake wealth).

Suggested Outcomes:
A) Somebody with a conscience buys out JAGeX Ltd. and its BS "partners".
B) Everybody quits the game, and gives them the bail-out they're seeking.
C) Continue as though nothing is wrong - eating the BS they keep spewing.
D) SUE THEM. There's PLENTY of honest and real reasons to.
(If anyone DOES do this, let us know! A class-action is well in order by now.) Clan:

pretty sure you were on board earlier mints, real life money is more valuable then your runescape gold, and having owned thousands of tradeable rares i wouldnt care, ive had years to enjoy being ahead of the pack

It's the fact that they will devalue anything for money. The special items we have for being long-time 'customers' shouldn't be re-released either. It's not a comparison.. it shouldn't have been done with this either. It just doesn't make sense to re-release holiday items and have even more angry people so that idea should be wiped off the table. That being said, I'm still in support of you guys. My first posts on the front page were changed to a list of quoted complaints everyone can see when they head over to this thread.

you missed a few good ones by the way. since Jagex already pulled the chair out from under us everything is on the table. Using that Jmods indirect quote from page 2 "...they had their time to enjoy being ahead of the pack" those that own current rares have had 0-11 years to enjoy them.

Try to remember these items have been out for a fair old length of time; if you have the equippable versions from their initial release then you've had all that time to look elite and well ahead of the pack.

As far as giving out free overrides to those who already possess the originals - its a nice idea but I'm not sure how complicated that process would be or if it's even possible. I'll note it down though.

ph1: so on that basis everyone has had their time to enjoy every freaking holiday item, now the rest of the pack should get a turn, same thing really. Because after all...they had years to enjoy being ahead of the pack, and its not like they paid real life currency for those items.

ph2: thanks for 'noting it down" for the cleaning crew to toss out, but the only reason why you are saying its complicated is so those of us that already own the items, go shell out more money to you (jagex) to get the over ride versions. it's as complicated as Diago knowing who has what holiday items, who is & isnt a bot.

so heres to all the pages to come that tells you how you guys failed.

When is the last time they done something for the community instead of so clearly for the money?
Even the holiday events aren't what they used to be. Christmas presents from squeel. Valentine hearts from squeel. Summer stuff from squeel. Ye sure you have the chance of getting the items ingame.. but basicly Jagex wants to make money from the events as well now.
Even the normal weekly updates are used to earn more money! Its like they make content in order to sell the clothes from solomon
Heck the only reason they ever brought the '07 back is because they could earn more money from it. No way they did it to make the community happy.
The way I see it runescape will soon be over... the community is dying jagex! can't you see it?

Nevermind the '07 runescape, Give us the '07 Jagex!

After reading more posts, I will a agree that a legit lawsuit can be made from this update. They claim the items are Limited Time Only. They added these so called Limited Time Only items to SGS. Both the Limited Time Only items and the new skins are essentially the same thing. Example: both the Flaming Skull and the Flaming Skull skin look the same and are both displayed in the same slot. By adding these items to SGS, makes them nolonger Limited Time Only. Correct me if I'm wrong but that should classify as false advertisement.

Edit: If we have the money to buy these cards, Premium Membership, and SGS coins, some of us probably have the money for layers. (whether it be single players or well grouped friends, it's possible)

Ok then. Jagex, you can avoid all of this if you do the right thing. Remember this Jagex, players will stop playing and paying membership, with less people on, bots will discontinue their work because there won't be much money in the market and quit paying their membership, in the end, you will be left with a game with less people and less chances of making money. There's plenty of other games we can switch to so don't think we will quit. I already have some new ones to go to which keep their word.

Well apparently they're suddenly not limited edition anymore and, Oh look *even worse* the new versions are even more convenient by not taking up an inventory spaces or armor slots. That seems fair, sell the crap versions to players in an expensive special package under the premise that it's the only time they'll be available, then turn around and make them permanent. It was one thing when they were limited then you offered them one more time in the premium package, but now they're permanent.
The only thing that doesn't make this PERJURY is the fact that it's an override instead of an item, but ethically, it's the same exact thing. TELL ME HOW you expect me to be loyal for too long to a company that LIES to me???? TELL ME PLEASE

There hasn't been a single word of or even a hint of one beta this year. On top of that, when you get right down to it, the betas are basically us doing work for Jagex AND THEY'RE THE ONES GETTING PAID!
Next thing you know they'll have beta access tickets in the store.

Dear Jagex,
If you don't either take those items off the store, or do/give something extra for/to your premium Gold Membership players, you're not going to be able to sell this package again next year. If that was your intention from the beginning, then all the respect you earned back from me with the old school servers is now, once again, lost.
Look at your community! Look at this Thread! We're not idiots, we can see this is obviously a huge scam!
For the sake of common decency as a respectable company, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!
