Although Portent of Passage is, logically, restricted to doors--still the intent is hamstrung by that restriction. Surely the intent of portents in dungeoneering is to expand the means of boosting over a skill threshold--providing an alternative/supplement to potions. So the Portent of Passage should work not only on the door itself, but it ought also operate upon any other door-release object in the room. For example, to repair a pillar.
An alternative to this would be a div energy woven object that could be added to a dungeoneering potion to increase the potion boost.
