Blugh. ;_;

This is not exactly a thrilling skill, and browsing through the rewards, I'm not even bothering getting it above 28. The food substitutes seem mildly useful, but I wouldn't get any decent ones until the 90's, and that's way too much effort for too little benefit considering I can just keybind food now.

sign of respite and the porter are about the only ones that look remotely valuable at low levels. I don't see what's stopping me from just bringing three sign II's rather than one sign VI, so level 28 it is! There's no way you're getting me grinding away such terrible xp rates for months for such a minor benefit!

I mostly agree with the above people, I just want to make a few points that I'm noticing are common trends with this skill.

1) Experience rates are abysmal. Not sure if that's intentional or not, but I'm level 44 right now and it's taking me several hours to grind my way all the way to level 50, which is abnormal for most skills. This will make it a more prestigious skillcape to earn, but why bother? Bringing me to my next point.

2) The rewards are simply not worth it. Most of the items (except perhaps the ports) are virtually useless until you get in the 90's. The Transmutation branch of this seems completely useless in most cases, only being profitable in a few instances. Maybe transmutation could be looked at and expanded to affect different items (like seeds, maybe?) or at least made so that it uses fewer materials.

3) The skill is too vanilla. I understand that it's new, and I'm not going to yell and shout about how terrible the skill is on the second day. But as many people are saying, it's similar to Runespan and about as fun to train as agility. It's just more of exactly the same thing all the way to level 99. I'm sure you have other things planned, but still.

I would say buff up the xp rates, but not 200% like some players were saying. I would also say to rework the scaling of the rewards so that players with the skill in the 50's and 60's can get some use out of it, and make the later unlocks more useful so that people actually feel some motivation to keep on repetitively grinding at it.

I really like the skill although it could use a little variation. The new places at each bracket are cool but there is no variation: it's the same energy rift and the same blue divine springs. Add some color variation atleast. Then a little boost to xp rates would be nice as it does seem on the slower side untill you hit 50.

I like the idea of creating Divine locations which opens up some interesting possibilities. Like kill some monsters at LRC and when low on health:
- catch some rocktail
- plant a tree
- chop it
- make fire
- cook rocktail
- heal
- kill some more

For a Divine reward at level 99, could you make an item like a gatestone as used in Dungeoneering so you can quickly teleport back to it.

I don't understand why is everyone so upset with XP rates "the adventure is the destination" what's the point in playing the game if all you want is to end it. don't get me wrong there is much pride to be had in achieving top ranks and top levels and reaping the rewards to do so but the xp rates are even for all players across the board so what you're really upset about is having to play the game.

That's another thing I forgot to mention, the divine locations seem just a tad restrictive. Only being able to use one per day? What's the point? And having to have RIDICULOUSLY high Divination requirements to get anything worthwhile out of it?

So far this is quite disappointing. The whole Divination doesn't actually feel as a skill. It's just something to increase the hours of the playable content in-game, and this has been done by giving extremely low xp-rates. So far I haven't come across any reward worth-while the skilling time.

As said before, this "skill" isn't actually a skill. Like for an example; smithing is a skill in which you learn to create better equipment and it is backed up by the mining skill, in which you can also become better in finding new and more useful ores. Also these two (there are more ofc in-game) can be seen as a skill even in real life. However, Divination is just collecting energy, for the experience so you can get better in getting more energy. I can't reflect this one to any real life or in-game skill so far.

Besides, it's just clicking on one thing and when the game says your inventory is full, you click on another thing. With these exp-rates, I'd like to see some more content than just hopeless grinding.

"Divination, old-school training with new-school rewards" - Mod Mark. More like "Infuriating grinding with SoF-like rewards".
