Please get the adventuring experience for humans behind computers back. This doesn't help with that.

'The road is more important* than the destination'.

*Read: fun. The most important thing to a game is fun after all. If human players aren't on the road because they teleport, fun decreases. In other words it would damage the game.

So why would they use it if its not fun? Basic human programming; humans will generally go with the flow and flow just generally chooses the path with least resistance/efford required. In some cases this is very useful such as a proper interface to bend the 4th wall less, but without lifting a danger to the fourth wall breaking, it decreases fun.

i think im going to like this new update ^.^

although it takes away the purposes of the gnome glider etc.
i still think ill enjoy it and i want the fairy rings but i want the QP too so if lodestones come out for those also it wont entirely bother me to be honest imo.

for a new lodestone area i think it should be located just outside godwars dungeon so the teleport runes to troll stronghold wont take up invent space and also if you decide to use ancient magics you don't have to run all the way up just teleport to the lodestone ^.^ . looking forward to unlocking more of them as i quite enjoyed it when i got back to runescape and started unlocking all the lodestones even the one in lunar isle :3

but when is this update going to happen because im syked!

I haven't used lodestones in months.
Without lodestones, I'm forced to use transportation I earn rather than transportation that's handed to me, helping the economy for any items I consume not using lodestones.

Anyway, to the point, lodestones should never have been implemented.
Fast transportation should only belong to those who earn it.

Hey idiots,

Here's a suggestion, if you don't want lodestones, or hell, anything that gives a ton of xp or stuff like that, DON'T ******* USE IT. Are you seriously that braindead. Oh wait, in the end you guys who don't like it will still use it anyways. Yeesh, you guys are almost as bad as the CoD community.

Edit: No community is as bad as the CoD community.

omfg, I love this guy! personally I'm gonna make full use of these load stones.

Should make each lodestone teleport have an hour cool-down time... So you can't move freely and will have to think about where you wish to go (you would actually have to run again! Who knew?). If there's going to be requirements as some of you have posted, it will mess up a lot of skillers out there.

Honestly a quick and easy solution for lodestones would be, to just make them have requirements similar to the actual teleportation methods and maybe add in a activation charge of like 100-1k law runes.
such as lvl 25 magic for varrock tele, desert treasure (or nature spirit) and 66 magic for canfis and so on. it would appease all parties, it would have reasonable requirements that are more or less already implemented into game play. it would make you have to go out and explore and put some effort into it instead of just walking click and insta inf teleports.
