Jagex, I am reading your forums thread and us players are not happy with this update, as you can clearly see. If this is supposed to be the year you listen to us ("supposed to be&quot ;) then please hear us out. Lodestones really need some restrictions placed at the very least. Since you do not seem to go back on implementing content I've noticed, at least do damage control with what you've done.


The vocal minority aren't happy you mean.

They make the game easier? Perhaps. But only in good sense this time. Running around is sometimes very frustrating. Runescape's landscape isn't all that interesting after a decade of exploring anyway.

Just wanting to get wherever I want as quickly as possible is the thing nowadays. Besides, I doubt these lodestones will all, if any be in same locations as some other possible teleports, like the elf crystals mentioned.

I think the best update jagex could possibly do is scale up the entire map by a factor of at least 3. It's so small and crowded it feels like a theme park rather than an actual believable world. There's no sense of adventure and exploration either. I can understand that the game was created this way because of technical limitations but that's no longer the case

While I'm not in favor of this, I'll still use it (why not? It's a competitive edge, after all). Can we at least make sure the following restrictions are in place:

1) No Elven LS w/o Regicide (maybe even Roving Elves) completed.
2) No Canifis LS w/o the quests to access Canifis(forget what they are, been so long since I did them) completed.
3) Warning on Wildy LS in case of misclicks (it'll be AWFULLY close to Edgeville LS, and I can't tell you how many times I've been trying to go to Fally, accidentally clicked Tav LS and wound up there).
4) No Fremmy LS w/o at least Fremmy Trials completed.
5) No Oo'glog w/o As a First Resort... completed.
6) No Eagle's Peak w/o, Eagle's Peak quest completed.

I think adding these req's will help balance them, and make it so that established lore is at least a little less ignored--aside from wildy one giving a warning. That one's just common sense.

No worries. It's like the Eoc, players are in both camps. Not to mention our community is really hostile for little reason. :P (not talking about you; you were nice)
