Why not have a new mini-quest for completing the lodestone network? You could be hired by the wizards at the wizard tower to go around to certain locations and building a loadstone. As i've said before, it would require a construction and magic level depending on the area (Isafdar requiring the highest levels) and certain materials to build.

Each lodestone would require 20 limestone bricks, 500 law runes, some material unique to that particular area.

- Eagles Peak would require a giant eagle's feather
- Isafdar would require an elf crystal
- Rellekka, charged lyre
- Canifis, mushrooms from the blessed cycle
- Wildy, death and chaos runes
- Karamja, bananas

If you had it as a rewarding milestone for 80 construction or runecrafting before you could "repair" them, to use them, I'd be ok with that. Having to buy materials on top of having a high level would be redundant though, I still don't think they should require materials.

What are you going to repair them with!? Hmm? How is it this hard for you to think straight. How hard is it to get 20 limestone bricks? 500 laws = wat, 90k? And last time I checked you could get most of the unique items with little to no effort.

I get that, but never has Runescape been set up in such a way as for it to take us 2 hours to get from Lumbridge to Varrock, without the ability to run, and having to rest every 5 minutes besides. And frankly, if it was ever like that, I would quit.

in a way thats how it is for lower level players who have yet to figure out agility and carry too much gear at one time

No, it's not. They can't run for as long, but the tutorial covers run and energy, so they know they have that ability before they even leave Lumbridge/Burthorpe. And what gear would they even be carrying? Bronze? If you're seriously arguing this with me there's something wrong with your concept of this game, and this game as it was.

Ok, as many other have pointed out: This was not necessary. You want to know how I get around these days?

-Fairy ring once a week for Miscellania.
-Elf Crystal once in a blue moon.
-Charter Ships for Brimhaven on my farm runs.

Everything else? Lodestones. I can't remember the last time I actually used the runes in my bank for teleporting. Because I don't.

Now, here is what I suggest:

Add a cooldown for lodestones (Like we used to have) that is anywhere from 10-30 minutes. Why do I say this? Because in reality it saves time. Think about it. The lodestones are placed in areas that are, more or less, less convenient than doing a traditional teleport, which was intended so people still used the traditional teleports. Well, that doesn't work so great because people like me cba to go to a bank and find runes when I can just simply click the lodestone teleport button.

Benefits:
-Saves people time.
-Makes Lodestones Less OP.
-Encourages more adventuring.

Please consider. :)
-Ascertes, King of all the Hallowlands and the Everchosen of Saradomin.

Personal insults, nice. Really helps give you credibility and get your point across. Anyway, fine. Make it a runecrafting/magic level then, and you imbue the pedestal with magic. Doesn't require any items, and its a level reward.

Oh my God mate, forget it. As a wise man once said, there is no reasoning with foolish people. You're wrong. You know you're wrong. You will fight it til the day you die because you don't want to be wrong. Whether or not you have a couple people you play with that are the exceptions to the rule, the fact is, most people have the common sense to mess around with the buttons when they start, ESPECIALLY if they can figure out how to toggle off the tutorial. They'll find the run button. Plus, you auto-run now anyway, so that whole side of your argument is moot as well.

simply giving an example as to why they would be quickly running out of run energy, besides this update only effects what i sell on the ge to fund my repairs and munitions

Please allow the Geyser titan to recharge ALL dragonstone jewelry. The option when you click it says recharge dragonstone jewelry, but it only recharges Ring of wealth and Amulet of glory.

Please include Combat bracelet and Skills necklace too! Thank you.
