Of course it will take a lot of loyalty points to buy the 'big' ticket items on the store. To think otherwise is not being realistic. I'm not trying to be confrontational here, I'm just stating the obvious.

As a continuous member for many years, I'm curious to see what the new rewards will be. :D

The ratio of runecoins to loyalty points is rediculous. It'd take me 3 years to have enough loyalty points to buy a single bank booster.

This merge seems useless. (Among other new updates...).

3 years to get one? What do you do? let your membership lapse for a month every couple months? You currently earn 15k points a month if you have at least 12 months of consecutive membership meaning that every 11 months you can get a new bank booster with points to spare.

I'm wondering if we will lose the unique colors of the current Loyalty Shoppe outfits.

I would much prefer to keep the unique colors of the current Loyalty Shoppe outfits instead of having them be the same color palette as the current Solomon's General Store outfits as this limits the variety of our RS clothing choices.

We already have a wide variety of Solomon's outfits with a limited color palette and probably don't need more outfits (such as the Loyalty oufits) with the exact same color palette.

The colors of the Loyalty Shoppe outifts are so unique that I would hate to lose them.

I have many friends who wanted outfits but couldn't afford to spend the extra money on cosmetics - now they will be able to. Jagex didn't intend for this to replace microtransactions but instead give another option to make it more fair.

I agree that it's good that there is now another option for players to obtain cosmetic items from SGS.

Mate, its true they said loyalty points will be boosted, but there is no way to know the amount of points they will be increasing monthly, and even they increase loyalty point rates by a lot it would take a LOT of time to start winning a reasonable ammount of points from the prices I saw on the video, and thats not all, It took me 1 year to gather the points i now have (120k, which is 300 runecoins), I am not asking jagex to change those prices by a lot, but cmon man 1k loyalty points is like 8€, now compare that to the 60€ i paid for my menber.

The prices seem too high right now, loyalty wise. Bank boosters were something like 150k, and some costume was 75k. I know you want to keep people buying runecoins, but even half those prices would be plenty.

Also, does lapsing in membership after this update still reset the multiplier for loyalty point gain?

(you made it sound like you're just changing that gained loyalty points reset to 0, which I'm not even sure if that's currently true)
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

Yes, but complaining about it without knowing how much the boost is is pointless. People are whining that it will take forever to get things with loyalty points but for all we know they could give you 50k/month. I'm not saying they will boost it by that much but how can you complain about something taking a long time without knowing anything about it.

Not to mention the fact that people are basing their complains on the current loyalty gains means they didn't even read the BTS or listen to the video.

Happy about the merge! I just hope the new amount of Loyalty Points will make the rates seem fair. Too big a jump in points will take away the meaning of being a long time member, too little of a jump will make this update a waste of time. Think of Guthix when finalizing the prices!
