while keeping in mind the "boost in loyalty per month" there are a few points of this I realy don't care for.

*the prices, now assuming we get a large boost in points per month, who needs membershp when a months worth of loyalty points is the same as 200 runecoins

*only SOME of the solomons items are available with loyalty, while i could understand things like the hero packs not being available most all the other items should be

*the value of our loyalty is out gunned by the value of greed, this however is human nature, you either get use to it, our you get dissappointed, alot.

I was just about to ask the EXACT same question! I've been with RuneScape on and off for 8 years now. I did take some time off in the middle, boy it would be wonderful to get credit for all of those early years!

LOL, of course not. The whole point of the loyalty program is to keep you a member. Taking time off in the middle makes you NOT loyal. Only people who have been member for consecutive months will gain higher points or the loyalty items. Being member for 10, then two months not and then another ten, puts you at ten months, not twenty.

I don't believe OSRS needs this RS3 news crap on our home page news feed..

Its people like you who make me regret voting twice to get 07 to return and almost make me now wish it would fail.

On topic. Glad loyalty is getting attention. I just hope the ''upgrade'' won't ruin any of the current loyalty outfits. Most were quite well done in the first place.

Jagex is choosing all of the
least popular
Solomon's General Store items, and allowing players to purchase them with loyalty points, so that they have
a new way of selling
said items.

Mod Tom, in the video, said that
some
SGS items will be
runecoin-only
.
(I'm guessing that'd be the
most popular/profitable
items - Items they have no problem selling for cash/runecoins).

There is only one item I'm interested in that hasn't been available with loyalty points, and that's the bank booster.

50 more bank slots for 130,500 loyalty points.

That it costs so much is quite a disappointment.

I have only 72,875 and I haven't used any loyalty points for a long time.

I think the Loyalty program is moving in the right direction. I hope this doesn't sound greedy, but other players who have played the same amount of time, just consecutively, are still being rewarded more than those of us who needed to take some time off before. But I realize this may be a tall request.

Either way, thanks Jagex for finally taking care of us long time players!

The sad thing is that it will never happen :/, for those of us who have been paying members for almost 10 years but have lapsed membership a few times, we will just have to stick our pride in a sack, light it on fire and put it on the doorstep of people who have been a "consecutive member" for 2 years and get's better rewards than us.
But, at least they ARE going in the right direction, I like this update.

Something from the Loyalty Shop that's worth 100,000 points (without spending a single point on an item) is around 11-12 Months of membership, but if you bought an outfit from Solomon's General Store for cost of 12 months of membership, you would have so much money left over to buy more outfits (assuming you buy the cheapest, full sets of cosmetic clothing).

EDIT: I wonder if the Loyalty Shop point boost will still make up for the fact that it's probably better to buy the clothing from Solomon's General Store.
