This is by far one other the better additions to Solomons I am a huge LOVER of pets, if I could store more in my POH I would honestly try and get them all.

Have not gotten This one yet but will be within the week thank you jagex.

Now if u could just make it so that They are a bit more custizible with NAmes and behavior that be awesome.

Also I would love to see A Kalphite King, Elephant, Giant Mole, And Nex pet please

Thanks for taking our pride away from us when we work hard to achieve rare items by adding this item to make it "easier" for ppl who complain and also as a money maker!! grrrr!!

for all those complaining about the legendary pets providing advantages they are barely advantages. for example yes it can deposit items in your bank but only 1 item every 20 minutes which isn't very game breaking is it.

This pet isn't the same as the drop from Vorago.

To the haters: It does not devalue the Vorago drop, it does not provide any in-game advantage, it does not do anything apart from look good, and have an emote. Essentially, it is exactly the kind of thing that Solomon's Store should be putting into the game. Just like (nearly) everything else in the store, it is purely cosmetic. There is no game damage caused by this pet.

I love having this little guy follow me around; the only thing I'd suggest be changed is to add a right click "emote" option, since there is only one option when you choose to interact with it. Unless there are plans to add more functionality, it seems odd that I'd have to Interact with it and then confirm that I want it to perform its emote.

And ty for the FAQ about the new pet categories... if companion pets are essentially emotes only...
I don't see why some of the existing summoning pets can't get some emotes added their ways, most of em only eat stuff and say one or two jokes and look neat trailing us. O.P. of Un-pack Packs!!

What upsets people most is that it is Jagex blatantly going back on their word. Compare this from the FAQ:

Can I gain a gameplay advantage with the new customisation system?
No, definitely not.
None of the items from Solomon's General Store affect gameplay
and they have no stats, including weapon accessories. To prevent players hiding their real items before fighting others, when entering any PvP area your customisation outfit & accessories are automatically switched off. When you've left the PvP area they will automatically come back on again. In terms of customised animations, all of the same underlying timings and gameplay mechanics apply, so nothing happens any faster or slower than before.

With this from the recent post about pets:

Legendary pets are available from Solomon's Store. They have three stages of growth, have emotes and animations specific to each of those stages, and can be recoloured and renamed.
They have a number of useful gameplay functions too
, such as gathering dropped items and depositing items to your bank.

Yes, they are only small advantages at the moment , but I believe Jagex will keep increasing their functionality to keep people buying them. How long before pets with combat abilities are introduced?
