Once upon a time we trained summoning to get new pets that grew and changed shape and colour, and for familiars that performed functions.

Now I feel like that game element was just a precursor to see whether pets with these characteristics would be sellable through SGS to make Jagex $$$.

If I wanted to pay $5 for a pet, I'd head down to an animal shelter and offer a $5 donation to rescue an animal in need and look after it IN REAL LIFE, feel great about it, and have a companion that would love me back.

for all those complaining about the legendary pets providing advantages they are barely advantages. for example yes it can deposit items in your bank but only 1 item every 20 minutes which isn't very game breaking is it.

Can I gain a gameplay advantage with the new customisation system?
No, definitely not.
None of the items from Solomon's General Store affect gameplay

Yes, they are only small advantages at the moment , but I believe Jagex will keep increasing their functionality to keep people buying them. How long before pets with combat abilities are introduced?

Well it's not really that insignificant. If you're fighting something like the automatons, or ascension creatures, you're saving considerable time and earning money from the stackables. When most enemies can be killed in just a few hits, the buyable pets save more time picking up items, than a combat familiar does now in speeding up kills.

Add to this the ability to occasionally bank items, and the increased ability to keep the ability bar up, and buyable pets not only devalue the levels required to unlock pets in summoning, but the value of combat and other familiars.

This new 'companion' pet is of a lesser concern, but the introduction of new buyable pets appears to be a continuing theme, and it has, and will harm the game further.

I saw this coming...HOW PATHETIC.

I've decided to be like "Sacornus the acorn" and embrace all these wonderful new updates.


So good job Jagex -keep up the good work, I look forward to more amazing items on SOF & SGS Hmmm I wish i could think of something cool/funny to put here

I just bought the new Vorago pet, but i doesn't appear anywhere on my account? :(

You have to find it under the helmet icon in the game in the pets tab. I think that it, or just right click the summoning icon on the action bar and that does the trick.

only this pet is available for $5 or less... Also this pet you own, unlike the $5 donation because you don't get to interact with that pet daily like you would be able too with this pet. The in game pets available for free aren't recolorable so if you want another you'd have to poh your existing one and go earn another just to recolor it, which is rather silly in my book. Lost Woods numba 1, (NOT EE, Those scrubs are liars ;p)

does the solomon general store is broken? because i bought 2x growth surge paid it with 864 rune coins but didnt get it, cannot find in my bank and inventory, please hepl me

Find it in your section with the legendary pets, there should be an dropdown menu there that lets you use said items there. Lost Woods numba 1, (NOT EE, Those scrubs are liars ;p)

This is by far one other the better additions to Solomons I am a huge LOVER of pets, if I could store more in my POH I would honestly try and get them all.

Have not gotten This one yet but will be within the week thank you jagex.

Now if u could just make it so that They are a bit more custizible with NAmes and behavior that be awesome.

Also I would love to see A Kalphite King, Elephant, Giant Mole, And Nex pet please :)
