Did no *ne spot the elephant in the room.

Minimum specs to play the game will be increased, I know many players who have to play at minimum levels now what will be done to enable these players to keep playing Runescape.

Time and again updates are designed on high specification machines with 28 inch screens that when released are played by people on laptops with much lower specs.

I have been playing the game since 2004 and have never had a problem that has affected my gameplay however recently with all the clutter that is onscreen, ability bar etc . I rarely get to see boss monsters health bars, chasing things like butterflies is a joke, pvp is a non starter.


So please don't forget those of us who have not got 1500$ machines and quite frankly dont want to get them. How about trying these updates on an average spec machine and maybe even on a laptop and see if what your trying to achieve works at that level of equipment.

Lets hope it doesn't have EOC, you forced that on us with no vote and it still
don't work properly, now you bring another version out, your getting way above
your heads Jagex.
Fix what you have given us now before releasing Runescape 3, to much hype
and not enough action on your part. .And now the end is near its time to raise the final curtain.
Regrets i have a few, but i did it my way.

I am interested in how you look at this updates in regards to hackers and exploitment of the *ode?

Since it will be written in JavaScript, the sourcecode will be out for the taking.. Will you be proxying the javascript or make use of obfuscation (looks like that is what you've done over at the beastiary) or do you have any other plan in mind?

Anyway, will be interesting to see if new exploits will appear as a result of this update.
