Oh My every single God in the game!!
"it feels a lot more immersive. It's like you're really there",
that worries me a bit to be honest lol, I don't really want to be too engrossed.
Lets be serious I think thats a huge exaggeration. You would have the really have cutting edge graphics and sound with high production values. You know like bioshock or crysis etc games that have either cutting edge tech or deep emersive storylines and voice acting. This is a browser based game. Although its a big step up no way will it make it "feel like im there" Jagex are just talking ****
OH OH ME ME!!! PLEASE NOTICE ME NOW!!!! Take off that stupid squeal and solomans. That would make RS3 a way better upgrade and possibly even playable. Ill stick with RS2 and not EoCscape if thats the way it wishes to remain.
This is of course under the fact of lies that no solomans or nothing will come to RS2. Which cmon we all know is a lie, matter of time.
It's not 'EoCScape'. It's called RuneScape, and it's clearly far more playable then OSS, because it has ~55% of the playerbase at all times.
Are you really so arrogant as to insist on playing a 5 year old version of the game, with terrible graphical quality, because you don't want people having a few extra cosmetics?

On a scale from 1 to 10, I'm roughly 10-(pi/2), which is apparently 8.429203673.
Questions I have is:
1) Will it be using webworkers for multi-threading?
2) Will the UI be rendered with webGL or will it be constructed from HTML nodes?
3) It was said that this client would 'better utilize computer resources', do you mean more efficient with said resources or that it will use more resources for similar performance?
4) A current problem with the Java-based client is that idle animations can cause a significant framerate drop in areas containing large groups of players. Is this a problem that's been solved in the new client, and will this be addressed in the current Java-based version?
5) Will there be any new post-processing effects added onto the new client for greater visual effects?
6) Will there be graphical settings as with the current client, allowing us to disable and enable to increase gameplay and boost performance where required?
7) How are all the textures and sounds going to be stored in this new client? Will it be using a HTML-5 file API? If so, where will this new cache be stored?
All I can say is WOW...Html 5 is really going to change this game for the better! The images shown in the video look amazing. This will for sure bring in more players to the RS Community. I hope my laptop will be compatible and will run smoothly even with the changes otherwise I will have to spend the money for a new laptop which isnt to bad since I've wanted a new one haha. Thanks Jagex for bringing us Html5 this summer I cannot wait.
Not sure if HTML5 supports this, but why not camera zooming? Like for those that use a mouse with a scroll wheel, rolling it forward causes a zoom-in, & rolling it back causes a zoom-out?

Essling, there's a way to check, if you can load up the bestiary no problem, then ya computer can run the HTML5 RS.
