Heh, I know this question was not meant for me, but I will try to answer it anyways:
So without further ado, what makes Runescape" Runescape"?
I fell for this game 8 years ago due to the amount of freedom this game offers. Do you want to be a miner? Go ahead and do it. Would you rather annoy some bosses? Grab your gear and get on with it. Would you like to do something for which you don't have the requirements yet? Then get moving and work towards your goals.
Especially getting 85 mining by powermining iron may have taught me a thing or two about patience.
The game was universal and you had to work to achieve your goals. Unfortunately, the direction this game seems to be going in for the past 2 years slowly alienated me from the game I loved to play. Surely, the core of the game is still there, but lodestones for example make the RS game world feel so much smaller. It's on the 07 servers (where I don't have teleports yet) where I appreciate the size of the game world again.
Another example is the introduction of micropayments. Whilst I don't mind the cosmetic store, I do mind the wheel. It is not uncommon to receive quite some money from there (according to what I have heard). The wheel devalues the sense of achievement which I get when I receive a rare drop or make money through other ways. This is why I boycott it, in order to keep special things special.
This is what made Runescape "Runescape", and why I as a long term player feel kind of alienated from the main game.

On the other hand, I am quite curious about the primal full helm drop rate too. Will it see an adjustment in the coming update?
EDIT: The ability to 'nuke' Yelps in the announced customisable interface beta would be a step in the right direction, in my opinion.
Sometimes, less is more.
