If we're premier members, do we still have to register? And, will the rs client be updated for html5 at any point during the beta if we don't like using chrome?

Not too sure on my opinion of this. On one hand, it's fantastic to see anything succeed and advance like Runescape has already. On the other, it's almost as if they're trying to make it more similar to the other popular mmos. The reason most people started playing RS was because it was one (if not the first?) of the best of it's kind. The reason people STAYED playing it was because it was unique. Bringing back old school was a great move, but changing everything too much will lead to it just being the same as everything else. Why play this if it's the same as WoW?

I'm not bashing, I'm just giving my opinion--wanting RS to stick with its roots!

Excited to see how the hmtl5 turns out, seen screenshots and videos of it so be exciting to actually play it live!

It'll make quests, skilling, and well just general gameplay all the better i'm sure and since i have the gold member package i know im already able to be in the beta. You can bet on beta release i'll be trying it out, see you and all fellow beta members on opening day! ^_^

Thanks big time Jagex, as i'm gold membership i can partake in all the beta/alpha things. I am very much looking forward to trying it out. Recently bought a new Laptop with way better specifications than my old one, so i hope i can get an even better experience.

So Players will be able to sign up, and if they meet the requirements, they can get into the beta. That sounds all nice and all, because Gold and silver members payed to have access to all beta's so making a reg to get in ( for others) is a great thing.

but what gets me is the last line.

what would be the point of signing up if all members will be able to try it out in the end anyway? All they would have to do is sit back and wait til the beta is open to the public. Time to follow an trail of Treasure.
