What is the point of making the Poll ''Members Only'' ?

At the moment, there don't even play 750,000 Members. Players that don't like the EoC, don't pay for a member-ship. It's so stupid,

You guys already knew there would be SO MANY votes for 2007 Scape to be back, so that's why you guys make it Members-Only to vote? Well, that's not very nice. There have been so many players member, spend their own Money on this game, but they decided to quit because you guys changed it WAY too MUCH. Yeah, I'm one of them.

And.. If the community got over 50.000 Votes, please do not transfer their RS accounts from the server now, to here. I'd like a fresh start, everyone on the same line. Everyone close to that one 99.. Race for the first.. All that stuff, I love it. Please, a fresh start.

It's bad enough that they're supposedly making everyone start at level 3 again. So why can't the true old school players/pkers like myself at the LEAST, get to use holiday items in the 2007 system? Seems fair to me. I don't want to be looked at like I'm some complete newb/idiot considering I've been apart of this game since late 2001.

Had to check the date in case it was April first.

Anyway, on topic: I'm so happy that you've decided to go ahead and do something like this. It's great to know I'll be able to play this game back when it was at its peak.

I however, have a few queries...

1. How will rares be distributed?

2. Will we possibly be able to get Godwars Dungeon? (I know it wasn't there in Aug 10).

3. How will the display names work? Will it show peoples default username like in old RuneScape, or will it show the name that you've changed it to?

4. Roughly when can we expect this update?

That's all, if a Jagex Moderator could answer my questions that'd be great! :)

P.S: To all of those complaining and asking for a 2008-2012 server, you have to remember that:

a) There wasn't much of a difference between the game in 2008 to the game as it is now.
b) They only have a backup of this.
