These goals are very unreasonable.

And to that IDIOT spamming this thread saying there were "500k people that signed up for that ps", SHUT UP. It's idiots like you that are making society so pathetic. Majority of those people were f2p, so can't vote anyways. Thus rendering your argument invalid.

Anyways back to my main point. The goals are unreasonable. There are not even 750k active members as shown by the hiscores.

What you need to do is allow either f2p players that were members for x-amount of time or have a certain skill level/total xp to vote.

Even if people renew their membership today does that mean they can't vote?

I am relatively confident that 250k votes will be reached but I know that without something being changed there is not a chance at 750k.

It really should've been 50k, 150k, 250k, and MAYBE 500k.

All these noobs saying to bring back any later version than 2006 only started playing in the year that they have stated to bring back.

With that being said, thank you Jagex!! I hated you for many years now and finally you have listened! :) Only problem is wasting $5 membership just to vote, which I will not be doing, like i'm sure 90% of supporters will not be doing. Unfortunately the very small portion of members left are mostly nerds/new players who have no intention of PVP and just want to be number 1 on the high scores. They are the reason why your community is so terrible, and I encourage them to continue to play the EOC and not bring their negativity into the old school game.

Looking forward to making an identical pure to the one i had in 2006 :) Thankyou very much Jagex for giving us this opportunity, however unrealistic the voting targets may be!!

Suggestion: Make the poll open to all accounts created on or before August 2007.
This will minimize voting bots and make it realistic for all the veterans who experienced the game at that time but do not want to pay for membership... yet.

500k+ here we come!

I see a lot of the posters here share my sentiment. By making this a member's only poll you are excluding a large population that WOULD pay for a subscription for 2007 servers.

Unless again you want us to pay for votes, then in which case your business model is screwed up because I wouldn't pay 7 bucks for my opinion to be heard over a game, I'll just take my money elsewhere.

so if i do not vote for this (because i dont want it) and you only get 50k votes im going to have to pay an additional membership fee of around $15?

but if every one that do not want this vote yes for this (even though they dont want it) and you get 500k votes there will be no extra membership fee.

i do not know what i should do becasuse if you only get 50k vote i will have to quit because i am poor in real life.
