I really don't know how to express my feelings related to this thread, but here I go:

As a veteran, and long-term player of RuneScape, I do highly miss the old version of the game, and would love to 'see' it for nostalgia reasons, but I've adjusted to the EOC and love the current state of Runescape, too. We've progressed so far to switch our focus back to the past. I agree and believe the direction we have taken has been what's best for us all, and I really have enjoyed using the action-bar and strategically planning attacks, compared to just clicking on monsters and using a Special Attack bar. Combat is so much more interesting, and definitely keeps me hooked on the screen rather than opening up webpages to find something else to do while fighting. Like I've said before, 'sometimes' clicking all the abilities gets tiresome, but that's a challenging aspect of the game if you want successful kills, or you have the option to initiate "Momentum" for a short break (which I think should be equalized to please any pre-EOC supporters).

I just pray the release of year 2007 servers (if it occurs) won't separate our community. I'd hate to see friends leave me to actively log-in to the old version. I've worked very hard on my account to train my skills, and I wouldn't want to have to start all over to be with the crowd I need to help support me and further enjoy the game. But, as long as you guys keep your promise to keep this live version updated and full of content, that's all that matters. I will continue playing, and probably go on the old servers for fun, but I doubt my pleasure will last, because the memories I have of the old game won't live up to my current expectations a second time. Regardless, though, thank you Jagex for listening to our feedback. This is why I've continued to support you. You definitely care about us. I hope the non-EOC supports do get what they desire, if it helps make them happy and able to play again. I'm undecided to vote or not...

No one wants anything before 2008 since they have been babied by the G.E. and Gambling. 2007 is perfect for this since people don't want all that *beep*. Get real people. This won't happen to begin with since there isn't even 75k real players to vote.

RuneScape since 2006, my interest in the game was just starting to fade. Reading this

news post has given me a feeling I haven't experienced since that first time I maxed a

skill in RuneScape. Depending on which version is passed, I will definitely purchase

membership. Thank you, Jagex, it is times like these that I am proud to call myself a

RuneScape member.

I remember those days...good days they were...But not as good as 2012...

However i am not here to say what i think about what year is better but more so to say...

The severs will not have the content from 2008 onwards...

I know that i wanted old RS but...at what cost...?

You see back then as you all (well most of you) may know melee was dominant and the combat triangle was not balenced.

Also I personally do not think it will be fun because most of the bosses we had from 2009 (the most fun in my opinion) will not *e there...

At what cost will this 2007scape be when it arrives...It will just be an incomplete version of Runescape.

I also think that it should have the old ***hting style but be updated like it is now with the current bosses and armour and weapons Etc...

Is this what you people really want?
