Jagex I can tell just by being a hard working player on Runescape for about 5 years that the only reason your having this poll is because your current skills and combat updates have bombed and you lost millions of players, I remember when there where 250 thousand people on Runescape at a time now you are Lucky if you hit over 70 thousand. so you saying "No. We strongly believe that the changes we’ve made to the main game are the right ones, representing the future of RuneScape." then you guys are just lying to yourselves people of Runescape only want 2006 back (we will settle for 2007) it makes you look bad and it also shames players who once held Runescape dear to there hearts and that includes dedicated users who have never been member before and even those who are members now can not hold Runescape 2007 to what they know most don't even know how they could play Runescape with out a Grand Exchange, most pay to play members now are botters the ones who you are basically trying to stop so with out bots for the 2007 version you are bound to lose a lot more players to the game, it would be much more logical to make it free to play but with some advertisements you would make more money (which you seem to love to do) and you may also gain the respect of all the players again. I guess what I'm saying to you is make it free to play but with some advertisements on the side.
On topic: I think this is a "great" idea
