Bots - check out RunAbyssDig which is a member of a bot group (rune ore bot in Keldagrim - been reporting him for months)
Bugs - I have personally reported bugs that have been outstanding for over 2 months that are blocking quest progression. Not a word from Jagex
Scamming

If this is truly our year, we expect basic tennets of the game to be repaired and maintained. Basic principles of the game must be adhered to as well (ethics in play).

This will be a hated suggestion but would help with RWT, bring back trade limits. If they have been on your friends list for x number of days/weeks, the limit gradually increases.

My faith in Jagex has basically evapourated so if these are just words that do not get backed up with action, you will lose me and many, many other players that have been loyal for quite a while. Let's hope MMG's statements are not just sentiment but promises kept....

Hi MMG, thank you for this post. I am very excited to see an anti Goldfarming/RWT strategy coming and look forward to more information on that. Additionally, thank you for clearing up the Botany Bay/Botwatch confusion, it is reassuring to know that the technology is still being rolled out. On promotions, thank you for acknowledging things like Sizzling Summer that offered far too much XP - things like the twice yearly bonus XP weekend events are a good balance here, I think. :)

Finally, on micropayments, thank you for striking a fairly nice balance especially with advertising on the homepage - this is definitely something I had personally noticed over the last few weeks, and for that you should be commended.

Here's to 2013!

For 2013, i'm looking forward to minimal micro-transaction advertising and more updates where the update is focusing on the update, and not offering some cosmetics a long side it. A lot of the best outfit's in the game are now buyable, not earnable. :C

I am still very much looking forward to the removal of gambling. That would cut down on RWT by about 60% i'd say, and prevents those players who are not good at this game from earning way more money than people who spend years earning it. :P This would also cut down on the spam bots being created and i'm sure it would be an easy fix. Think about the Pro's against the cons and fixing how mithril seeds work.

well here's something to improve communication on

last week 14th when the monsters got buffed we all know it got out of hand and monsters became godlike.

for 2 days there was only 1 post from mod dean responding to this that he would look into it.

current rumours going around that karil's pistol is bugged and not dropping in barrows
along with the seawitch from PoP ressurecting crew members with insanely low stats
and kiln cape being super weak compared to skill capes. duel weilding being weaker then just 2h's balance issues etc.
plenty of topics like these going around

id like to see a sticky placed in the recent updates when something like this happends so we can see a j mod confirm the issue,instead of having to bump topics hoping it ever gets spotted

thats the type of communication im missing

Bugs and Scamming will always exist. Jagex try their best to tackle what they can. When players find a bug, they will either manipulate it, or send a bug report. Either way, they will get fixed.
