I hear you on all the suggested fixes in 2013 and I know the team is looking at these.
I absolutely love your quote and couldn’t agree more with "remember RuneScape is not just a game it is a family!"
Whilst I certainly believe that and feel strongly about it, I really do wish that was a far widener reaching community sentiment, so many players seem outright rude or mean to each other and especially hostile to new comers to the community
It would be awesome if we could simply find a way or encourage people to be nice to each other again!

2013 looks like an amazing year already,
i enjoyed the high level content of 2012 and i even made a new account so i could try out the combat system from level 1
(i loved the new tutorial with the trolls in burthorpe i did today)
just hoping that the gambling problem will be worked on aswel.
but i cannot wait for better graphics because i enjoy those kind of updates the most.
cant wait for the new skill and i hope we will get some teasers!

here are some of my personal opinions:
-make the forums more "easy to access": this means having it setup to where players can go to their forum posts. this also means if a player is being replied to (for example @Kain519) make it shown to the player.
-make some abilities that you get from quests: you killed off the usefulness of items like korasis, E Excalibur, and the ancient mace. so instead of the ability dying away make it to where you unlock the ability.
-reward players who bring their friends back to the game: some of the old school people might be left out in the dark about what is going on in the game and might have a friend who is playing this game.
-"community service": i cant stress enough my belief that "people can change". i for one know that i did (you have my record...) . I think there needs to be a way for players to redeem themselves. primarily players who get punished for "petty offenses"

- Money isn't the only thing: we need to somehow find a way to stop this aristocratic attitude that some of these players have. to put it bluntly, i am tired of rich players who think they can walk all over players because they have more money in their bank account.
well that's pretty much all i wanted to point out as far as ideas go. i really hope you guys give what i posted some thought.
