@Norseman21 Spend $20 for, I quote, "a chance" for xp, not the actual xp itself. It's called gambling, just like a casino. You can pay extra money to try and get a chance at an advantage. And I have played LOTRO as well and have spent real money on slayer deed acceleration, which is a clear advantage, also you can buy spell tomes and recipes, also giving you an advantage, not to mention mounts (I bought the Steed of the Hunter, while offering no real advantages other than a mount you can buy with real money instead of in-game gold). I don't have a VIP membership to LOTRO but everything I buy with the real world money in the Turbine store has accelerated me to level 42 without ever needing a subscription. It would be hard to do that in Runescape, actually impossible, if you think of it...F2P people have no way of accelerating themselves with real world money without a membership, which is exactly what I do in LOTRO.
