I really hope this translates into more development for the neglected and in some cases broken skills like smithing and more training methods that can involve fun, strategy and a community swing to it rather than the general easyification of the game through faster and more afk-able training.

It sounds as though that's something Jagex is going to now avoid creating so I'm optimistic for the future, I hope the new skills and quests are awesome.

Yes! I am in full support of advertising RuneScape with a stronger focus on everything that RuneScape truly offers! Enough with the fantasy/cartoony clips, the advertisements need to display what makes RS what it is, and why it is enjoyable.

This sounds very nice. Sadly, some of your previous posts were clearly dishonest or ignorant (and you don't seem ignorant) and so, I doubt you even intend to do what you say.

Of course, You cant protect the legacy of our efforts to to get our skill lvls up. That is already lost to selling GP and EXP on SOF.

As for EOC, It is nice if you like to pay very close attention to all battles at all times. Combat training is not as fun that way, however. So, You will see many of us doing other things to avoid it when we can. Changing the weaknesses and strengths of monsters at the same time was also annoying and makes it so we have to go battle things to re-learn each monster we thought we knew (and then bank and gear up over again). That is a big waste of time I don't have available.

I see a semi-successful bot crusher on w60, but a continuous stream of new accounts on every other world I visit (at Buthorp). I just do not believe you want to stop this new account creation activity due to your apparently weak effort on this front.

Still very sad about the ongoing destruction of what was good here****

"Gambling. Flower Games

Yes, I did state that we were working on some content to deal with the "mobile gambling devices" (like flowers, eggs, seal emotes etc) that players use. And we are! There is clearly an appetite for high risk gameplay within RuneScape, and I want to ensure we are giving people safer alternatives when we remove things like the flower gambling from the game."

This answer that you have given on page 42 worries me deeply.

I have heard that you intend introducing 'legitimate' gambling into the game via an official 'casino'. Is this what you're hinting at here? And are you, at the same time, advertising Runescape in schools to under 16s?

If your answer to current ingame gambling is to introduce your own version, how are you going to protect younger players from getting involved, and address the issue of a potential addiction becoming a problem for players?
