To an extent i agree with you, but it is the EOC, i dont think i have to say what it stands for again lol. But give this game a chance, go visit older bosses, and see what EOC has done to them. this makes everything more enjoyable as a whole.

that makes no sense because you can simply avoid the wildy.pvp was very competitive, but again..... you could just turn off the chat and avoid arguments.

I think you just hate pkers simply JUST BECAUSE.

You shouldn't judge a book by its cover, and you shouldnt get mad A group of ppl because of a very ppl with bad attitude.

naruto, i can answer the 1st part, thanks to mmg, mark, and their blunt "adapt or quit logic" when it came to the EoC updates runescape lost many vetran players (myself included) to private servers, i can say (without adverting for it) that im very happy spending my time (and money) on a pre-EoC game, as 1 of many older players that highly dislikes button mashing for top game play (sorry momentium to many is sub-par) jagex made it pretty clear what our options were. the amount of google searchs for runescape private servers definitly shows that im only a drop in the bucket that felt that way. and as far as credibility for my self...........

at time of Eoc

- trimmed completionists cape
- all skills minimum 32 mil xp
-deputy owner of maxed clan (#1 clan in runescape) <--- very awesome clan , that was the hardest part giving up
- avid pvm'er
-i had completed the game many times over... and still played vigously because it was still attractive to me... even after 10+ years of playing, even now i still pop in here now and then to see if they have made a pre-EoC gameplay so i can resume where i left off.
and to MMG , i scrolled thru the 1st couple of pages, seen u actually replied to a few posts, if u see my comment,i do have a question..
-Are you planning anything to try to get back the many vetrans you lost because of EoC? if so, what is it?

I am in full support of your question about Trouble Brewing, as I would love to see a re-work of the available rewards. The gameplay, in my opinion, is fine, I love playing Trouble Brewing.

As for other "dead content", content dies as updates come/rewards don't turn out as expected, unfortunately, and we have seen re-works of these in the form of Fish Flingers. I hope that a lot of issues with dead content are managed accordingly.

This EOC has just made things too easy in a weird sense. Plus you have to had some patience with this game. EOC just makes things too easy to level so player don't have to put in the time to gain such high levels compared to real leveling back in pre-EOC for these skills.

MjcThegreat i feel the same way, I have been playing for 8 years and all these updates that give out xp lamps and massive xp amounts have massively undermined my 8 years of hard earned xp in my skills.
All i can hope is that 2013 will be better than 2012 but I can hardly see that happening. You proved that by taking out flowers in Eoc beta you could prevent gambling. What do you do? Nothing. If you want 2013 to be a good year remove gambling from runescape and stop giving out all this excessive xp.

I went down to the grotworm lair a few days ago and noticed very few people. I assumed you got rid of a ton of bots. We do notice you killing bots, but 1000 a day just isn't enough. I mean it's great getting rid of bots and all, but they are reproducing more than you're killing.

Overall though, I'm still glad with the updates. Keep up the good work! :)

Thank you, I have to admit I'm really surprised yet elated to read that as one of the longest standing members of the community you absolutely adore EoC, of course tastes differ and that is something we always have to delicately balance, clearly we didn't go about it right despite every best intention, but I do genuinely always wonder how much the negative sentiment was a question of taste, versus dislike of change, versus "no matter what you you guys do now, because of that little troll just die, die, die" ?

BTW guys I'm still on page 9 trying to respond to as many questions as possible so please bear with me :)
