Jagex and Mark Gerhard- The part that infuriates me most about this post is the following statement regarding EOC ----" Two months in, we’re glad to see you mastering the combat system and enjoying its exciting improvements. However, we appreciate it hasn’t been an easy transition for everyone and I apologise for that; we still have work to do, and we have learned the need to be even more careful and responsive in the future." ------While it is a step in the right direction, this is a weak apology that demonstrates a continued lack of understanding. In my opinion because your management, customer service team, developers have been acting like children, ignoring us, by telling us we we being unreasonable for stressing how disappointed we were by how EOC was rolled out. I have to say Seriously Mark Gerhard, for two months many of us "loyal runescapers" have poured our hearts out here on FB and in the forums. The forums which contained our post were hidden, moved, locked, shut down and ignored. All we wanted was acknowledgement for harm done and words of understanding, instead we were called whiners, told to shut up, poked at because of our age, told we should get used to it, asked to be constructive and simply let down. So now we have an apology, but even it demonstrates a failed understanding, because you still has the gall to suggest that we have done on our way towards mastering the combat system...this means again you clearly haven't listened or looked hard enough at the number. Because a good number of players simply don't like the combat system at all, and will only minimally play the game(skill) until combat is modified to accommodate multiple playing styles both old and new. Please do yourself a favor and avoid having to come back in another two month and apologies more, please get to the inevitable, and fix combat, start now and enjoy the praise from players who have invested so much in your wonderful game through all the years high and lows.
