I agree with your point that EOC helped to kill off pvp. And for that I am thankful.
Now I just hope Jagex continues and works to eliminate non mini game pvp. Pvp breeds anger, hate, revenge, and a sense of condescention. How do I know? I experienced it. I feel angry when I get killed by a pk'er. I want to get revenge on them, and often do. And when I do, I feel smug and lord it over them to the point that they hate me.

Can we PLEASE have skill levels matter?
Before EoC Skills accounted for like around 75% of a players accuracy, defence and damage output.
And it should do so again.

Because right now its ALL about gear and equipment, and people who cannot afford Nex gear pretty much have no chance at all in PvP activities or PvM.

Skill levels need to matter more than gear again. O_o :P :@ :O

Mod Mark, I see many posts regarding the old combat system. If nothing else, can you just give a final confirmation on what your views are on this matter.
Many players are holding on to the old system returning. If it never will, we can let go.
