A few suggestions for 2013:

A counter on the website that shows the number of banned bots and RWTers. It would also be nice if you made this data tabular so that it can be graphed. This should give players, like myself, who don't believe you're being honest about your efforts against bots and RWTers.

Make all bosses instanced. The number of times I get crashed by parties (even on non-lootshare worlds) when I'm trying to enjoy a solo GWD trip is beyond aggravating. Jagex may idealize that bosses should be fought in groups and thus the solo'er is often not considered, but a large portion of your player base doesn't like to depend on finding a decent group of PvM'ers, nor do we enjoy the time spent (wasted) on finding these groups. Players may complain that this would devalue item sets like Bandos, Subjugation, and Armadyl, BUT this could be fixed by adjusting the rate-of-drop depending on the size of your group. I'd gladly take an instanced K'ril Tsutaroth with a slightly reduced drop table than search through dozens of servers in hopes to find an empty one, just to be crashed by a group 5 minutes later. I also shouldn't have to log into a foreign server to find an empty server.

More polls so that players can vote on the content they would like to see added to the game. Give an incentive to vote that way you see a large percentage of players participating.

Yo Jagex, I hope 2013 will truly be as you say "your year" from your perspective. I think it's important that the both the players are happy with things they like, such as new quests, skills, monsters, etc... and that you're also happy with the content your releasing.

Even after everything that's happened, I can legitimately say that your doing good.

I'm extremely excited to see the HTML 5 graphic engine update in Spring 2013, as well as other upcoming changed.

Here's a quote I made up myself:

"If the community is happy, then you should be happy for what you've done."

Just words. Nice words, but just words nonetheless.

Jagex is good at talking the talk, but rarely do they walk the walk. I hope this time is different, but I'm honestly not expecting it to be.

Definitely hoping to see more action from those words, then just plain ol' words.

@masterfire, if they were to make a poll now, most players would choose to keep the EOC, because the Eoc makes "bossing" much easier, and i doubt anyone would want to go back to that, this is my opinion of that situation.

Actually, I think you'll find I said you are ruining the game. At no point did I say that bots aren't a problem or that "quitters" are the problem. There are many problems, none of which I mentioned. More than one thing can ruin something.

I wasn't referring to quitters at all, I was referring to whiners who do nothing but flame Jagex all day and anybody that disagrees with them.

I would advise you take a closer look at the positive responses on this thread and observe how they are constructed. A huge majority of them offer decent feedback in them. The negative posts, like your own, offer nothing but insulting jibes.

Mod Mmg posting in General forums? No wait, Mod Mmg posting on the FORUMS?! These changes to the game must be important!

All of these ideas look really good, but my biggest concerns right now are bots and gambling, but the latter is more troublesome for Grand Exchange lurkers.

I'm inclined to agree regarding promotions; Sizzling Summer was definitely overkill!
