What about all the players that dislike the eoc? when the eoc first came out you were basically saying, you either like it, or you will like it.
and even though a large amount of players through youtube/ingame/forums said they didnt like it you still rushed it without any other options.
I loved pking, pvm, hybriding, with friends that were actually the same age as me.
and now whenever i want to pk... I cant! private servers can never match the mastery of the real runescape coders. So i quit private servers, and now i have to watch pk videos that i've already seen 100 times just to get a feal for old runescape.

I dont like having to mindlessly spam 4 in order to attack, and i dont like the fact that 1 defence means you will practically get 1 hit now, and i dont like how when i even attempt to hybrid i have to have atleast 3 bars of abilities on in order to effectivley use mage/melee hybriding, which in the long run makes it so slow passed that there is just no point in even trying.

But in the end. its obvious you wont listen to your players by this point. and that the eoc is here to stay, call me crazy, nerdy, a freak, whatever (i skate irl so get at me) but old 2011 2007 2012 runescape was the biggest adventure of my crapy life, and now its over. just give it back for all the players who care man. so many memories and feels :'(

Is not the Solomon's General store or the squeal of fortune that makes runescape bad, we understand that you need to make money to raise the game, but the EOC? wow man that is what made me quit, and im not saying that I want the old combat back, but at least it was more fun to play than the EOC, it just doesn't fit in the game, plus you made that update regardless people's opinion about it, you didn't made a poll like the one of "free trade and wild back", no. Jagex you just did what you wanted, and until you make a better combat than the EOC or at least put the old combat back, im not playing Runescape, and so are all my friends I know that used to play this. Runescape used to be so fun until EOC came. :(

To bad jagex lost hundreds of thousands of subscribers and active players. That many people just don't unsubscribe from a game. I thought when a fairly popular game loses subscribers, the makers would want to figure out why and look at their recent updates to possibly bring people back. But nahh... why bring people back and make more money when we can Real world trade with the squeel of fortune and be ignorant and hypocritical ass holes.

I'm going to ignore all of the mass negativity on this thread.

I really, really enjoyed reading this post. It feels like for the first time in a long time you're listening to the community and actually reaching out to them. I can't explain how excited I am for this upcoming year and I know the jagex team is going to rock it! :) Keep up the good work everyone!

This made me sad. I haven't been playing lately because of the recent updates (I'm not boycotting or anything, I just found I had no desire to play and didn't have fun) and this makes me reminisce of those great times I used to have on Runescape; the first time I completed Desert Treasure and Monkey Madness, when I got a dharok's helm from barrows, when I merchanted whips for 100k profit, even when I got my first set of mithril. The amount I have enjoyed this game has steadily decreased as time has gone by, my best memory is still that mithril. But I think it may be that I have grown up with the game, and it lost it's fantasy for me. I think that might be the case for a lot of people who don't enjoy the recent updates. The only reason I enjoyed it was that I had played it so much for so long and now we have pretty much a new game, an average one, that gives us no reason to play. Nostalgia was one of the huge things this game had, I think, though you can't live on that forever.

Not sure what that little rant was, but it just came out. This game really did mean a lot to me.

Mod Mmg Is there a posibility then the Runescape 2006 service be back?
