I don't see much of this happening.. The staff has become overly obsessed with their micro transactions, and majority of the promoting is based on new micros everyday. It's also ridiculous that the in game pets cost more on this game then they do on WoW, which has a larger fan base for sure**** used to be a fun game, the combat style was unique the way it was, simple.. which was why everyone played it. Now the game appears to be copying WoW, even the abilities are copied with the same names.. Market manipulation by Jmods is huge, if you're trying to bring out high level gear then why are you trying to keep nex sets so ridiculously high, when most of the community is not this rich. New armours should be taking the price of older nex sets, not making new armour impossible to get and worth double the price.. As for bots, they'll never be banned, right now they are probably provided 80% of your income, and once they are banned the game will legit be underfunded to continue. Members have already seen a huge price increase on there memberships, and then there is all this promotion garbage that is never ending.. People shouldn't have to pay more to be more successful. EoC has ruined the game, none of the people I originally played with play anymore. Obviously they wouldn't keep the old system still running because they would have proven to be more popular and Jmods wouldn't allow for the community to prove them wrong that they made a large erros. The EoC was definitely way to rushed. Oh well your loss. I gave it a chance into mid January, until the impossible slayer, which was my favourite skill become even more corrupt. Monsters with only one weakness was unjust, perhaps if they has 2 weakness so you could have more variety in combat training it could have been slightly better. As for now there are no good updates I've seen, so my membership will not be renewed unless something spectacular happens, which is unlikely.. Anyways, end of my rant

And EOC really is a pain in the ass... i want to relax playing game like it used to be in 2006 not to think like playing chest i can do that in real life and real job.
edit: btw all these abilities have made to come more bots to game cause now it more eassier for hackers to create macro....
also now all skills is way to easy to train... It was awsome back to 2006-2010 when you have to work harder to achieve 99 skill, and people were proud of that.
Also with your EOC you have ruined CLANS world, from what to had like 50% of players who came from CLANS' sites to play this game, same with youtube makers cause pking is ruined.
Now way to much shortkeys and abilities.. they just stinks we prefered special bar, cause player was exited to try to k0 person with a special att now some kind of combo special attacks..... Oh btw all these armour updates which came a long with eoc ruined RS economy... again...

Chugga Bugga - Apart from the huge wall of text which often annoys me, I mostly agree with you.

Bots provide most of the income. Actual legitimate players are leaving in droves. Take them out and all you have left are cheaters, bots and gold farmers.

It would be a miracle to save this game at this point.

If this is our year why don't you start by listening to what we want.... Eoc you say was implemented to secure long term safety of the game, so it didnt get "boring" or "old" and could compete with other games developers.

What you still dont understand JaGex is that the game we are trying to get back was a unique game, it didnt need updating, it was perfect. The content you released back in the day was a reminder that you were still there, making sure the game we played never felt old, meeting the needs of the people that didn't want to do the same thing everyday (what we can now safely say is the minority)

What we want (a community of players who have stuck with you for years) is the oppertunity to play the game we've played for so long, the way we remember it, because it wasn't getting old, it was the same every single day for us because we enjoyed it so much. The pking community, a whole community of pures etc were wiped out by Eoc and it's just not fair.. the effort people put into training their accounts and what it ment to them, wasted by one update.

If you still can't see you've taken everything unique away from this game and can't see that you should clearly bring back the game you created and forget about this new version (or implement it differently) so that the community gives its blessing, well im really not looking forward to the days ahead for you guys,

Just because the game was simple doesn't mean it was bad, i still wanna see you do well Jagex, i just think you need to consider what runescape means to some people and what you've taken away, and make a decision for the best.

Runescape was the best Free game to play ever. You don't need to graphically and tactically compete with other games to stand out, you created something else entirely different. Please bring Runescape back Mmg.

Panda Lust - If this game is going to get anywhere, Mark Gerhard needs to step down from his position as CEO.

With Insight Ventures owning over half the total shares, I see no recoveries happening until Jagex regains control of their own company. Even then there are no guarantees Runescape is going to get close to what it used to be.

So what can you do? We're left on a boat without a paddle, and all we see is endless water. Which direction do we take, how much are we willing to sacrifice to make ends meet?
