EOC is the best thing that ever happened to Runescape.

Tell me guys, why do you guys play a game? Is it because of it's "simplicity" or for the fun?

If for the "simplicity" then go play some other games, no one is asking you to keep on crying about "bring back the old rs, the new rs is dying".

This thread is for the future of RS so please, keep your grievances elsewhere, we don't want your pathetic comments about "bring back the old RS".

There are Gambling Bots - carefully scripted bots that will act as any other bot out there; they will stand there spamming the flower game or whatever they are called now, they will proceed as any normal flower game they will poay you back if you win and keep the money if you lose. You can even see higher level end players, with Party Hats, Santa Hats using these scripts to take away people's money.

Bottin is getting worse every day. I'm not sure if Jagex actually CAN eliminate every single bot in the game, financially, because it would reduce their income drastically. In one of the recent News posts from mod MMG, it was stated that they ban 1000's of bots "daily" - I, persionally, find this hard to believe because of the basic fact that there are still bots everywhere - even gambling bots.

James, from RuneShark (most of you know who I'm talking about) did a video recently giving his insight into this 'new problem', he even said that he contacted a few J'Mods who were online at that time, but they did nothing, I realise they have things to do, but coming to the GE and, personally having a look at the problem would really make them realise how bad it actually is.

Im a little late reading this thread, but am glad I did. This was a good message and very much apperciated. Think its the first time in my 10 years of playing that I feel apperciated as a paying member as well. So thanks for that, thats pretty awesome. If we were to get a message like this now and then on forums, it would help defuse fustrations - on both sides of the playing field. It makes new major changes easier to swallow if the communication and reassurance is there. Without that from you, Jagex, we tend to feel unheard, unimportant, and most of all, under a form of dictatorship and forced to either like or leave.

Personally, im not a fan of EOC and if given a chance, I'd choose to go back to the way it was before. But then again, i'm a RS old skooler who cant multi-task worth beans so this is why. Too much "new" is way too much for me to take in all at one time lol Still, when I read a post like this from Jagex, it encourages me to be more open minded than I have been.

Fix combat or else Runescape will die. It's unique combat is what made it different than all the other MMO's which for the most part are button mashing games. Anytime you have to mash buttons during combat it's not really all that fun. You will find yourself becoming even more bored from all the repetitive mashing on easy foe and find yourself starring at the attacks/abilities to make sure your rotation is right on harder foe. Please Jagex gtfo this kick thinking RuneScape is better off with a "more like wow" combat system. If it's not broken don't fix it. If you have to update your game continuous to keep new players and noobs alike happy and interested then how about this. Just think about what built Runescape and the ones who have played the longest. Listen to us veterans of the game. Yes I know updates have to happen and things have to be put into the game to keep it alive, but things like completly changing our combat is a bit much. Yes an action bar and button mashing combat fits WoW and some games like that. However, most new mmo's fail and people go back to the good ole founding MMO's or the ones who have been around the longest. For me that is RS and WoW. I would rather anyday play RS, because of the game layout, but since button mashing combat I have renewed my WoW sub. Yes I plan on continuing RS just to skill a bit, but more of my time will be on other games now unless something happens and the game is fixed. Inb4flammed, but I feel most of us want our game fixed. To sum this all up, don't fix something that isn't broken. Add content little by little that makes sense**** is a hard MMO and is much more challenging to gain exp and harder to reach milestones of any sort really, when vs. against say WoW or any MMO I've played. Give players time to achieve things. There just is no need for mass updates... Jagex your the king of the browser and know how to make a damn good game. Go back to your old ways and don't let investors tell you how to run your game.

I too am a little late in reading this message to the community. I am not nor have I ever pretended to be a fan of EoC. I tried each and ever weekend event there was. I gave EoC a fair chance. Went into the tutorial and quickly left, just wasn't' for me free xp or not couldn't do it.

Yes been a member since 2005 and I purchased the Premium package I'm here for 1 more year. Maxed player who finds herself bored with Runescape in a whole. I'm here for my clan and it's members. Slowly working on Comp cape, or working on another account when things get to boring.

I have members working on going to Kalphite King, I tell them my computer is to laggy ( which at times it is ) but I just cba with Eoc or bossing any longer.

Like the game back to way it was in 2006 -- keep the looks and most of the content just remove EoC.
