Hello MMG, I have recently quit runescape but i have been lately trying to come back. This is all in reply to the EoC update. I know you guys at Jagex are trying to take care of everything wrong in this game,(not saying EoC is bad) but the reason for losses in players is Eoc. I came back, my first intentions were to PK, but as you walk into the Wilderness you don't get the same feeling. There's a difference now; my suggestion is narrowing down different aspects of the game to different worlds. You guys have so many worlds, split them up into Eoc and Non-Eoc worlds to bring back the population you deserve. You know the main reason for player loss is this new update, I even left for the same reason. I love the expansions you are trying, but changing rather than adding hasn't helped all the time. Try some renovations in the people's part. Thank You.

I know a lot of old players who are currently still around too. I also know of many, many more who have quit in the past few years to these bad updates. As for myself, I quit a long time ago, but like to come back and see what is happening. This is 1 of my 2 original accounts from 2000/2001.

Great stuff mark, i must admit that i'ma not a massive fan of the Sof and solomons but the EoC was amazing and to see you talk so frankly about some of the more controversial aspects of the game really affirms my confidence in you. You're doing a great job, keep it up!

They wouldn't divide the community. Those who dislike the EoC - will eventually go... I mean.. eventually right? They can't log in every day and complain on the forums.. surely even they'll get bored.

At any rate, once they leave we'll have a playerbase that understands tolerance towards one another and loves what the game is becoming - not the past. We'll still share our fond memories. The goal is to simply wait until the forums are cleaned up - and then the real player feedback can begin. That's when we'll have amazing suggestions come into game and Jagex mods listening to player feedback and communicating without a few players trying to jump down their throats.

The customer is not always right, and anybody who has had any kind of job dealing with customer support knows this - you just have to "pretend" they are to their face - then laugh as they walk away.

are you sure this botany bay is working good?
My main is banned for goldfarming and I have never done these things ...
It doesnt mean when my parents visit some merchanting sites (just irl items) that I do goldfarming !
So i am banned without a reason (rang3r h1t u) and im sending an appeal (you are saying the communication is alot better, but my appeal is still pending, already a week ago !!)
So hopely you will fix this problem very fast ! Now you are banning innocent people
