Spot on Kyratt!

"We are very keen on making 2013 your year. This means giving you what you want: meaningful quests, new dungeons, epic events and new skills."

This is not what the majority of people are asking for, typical salemanship tactic.

It is shocking to me how far they are taking this and still trying to shove it down a dying and diminishing group of players.

Ontop of this they are trying to increase sales by making more lures to spend money.

Their income outside of these increased measures was higher merely due to the player base and loyalty to the real Runescape.

@ Machete Edge

It is broken, there isn't any question about that.

Not only is the game worse btw, it is much worse off than it was. The mistakes are more prevalent.

I do definitely like some of what they have said on here... but I don't like even more of it.

My experience with RS, since before your account was created, has taught me Not to trust their "claim" and to Wait a very long time for the ones that they seem more sincere about (which is by far from all of the claims made).

Clear statistics show this, Machete, or can you not count numbers or read feedback on the forum (let alone this thread)?

Btw, you're much newer than I to this game, as well as the majority of my friends (all of which have left, except one (maxed friend's list since 2,000)).

Fear not, they will NOT fix any of it, you can rage quit without regret.

@Machete Edge

I can only assume you have too many accounts to keep up with if you truly have been around since '05 and have such lousy lvls, I have been out of game more than I have been in game for quite a few years and my main has close to 1500 total lvl, my next highest lvl account (this account which is 100% pure F2P) is closing in on a 1k total lvl and my other 2 are well above any and all requirements to have full access at the forums WITHOUT being members EVER!!! Your pathetic 1284 total as a member is pitiful for someone that started in '05.

By the way, sorry for player hating on you but with the way you are attacking others, I thought it was well deserved in this case.

@ those whining about players "whining" about things they don't like in this game

Does whining about other players grievances make any more sense than them voicing their displeasure?

@ Jagexfanplayers

I wish I could share in your optimism but I can't, too many lies from Jagex has opened my eyes to their uncaring attitude.

@ those that are displeased

Don't let all these player haters discourage you. If you aren't happy, feel free to voice your displeasure, just don't expect Jagex to listen, I sincerely doubt MMG's words are sincere in this PR posting.

LOL
Driconic, I love the quote: "Remember this MMG?
"We don’t want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn’t affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape." Because buying SoF spins and getting XP lamps isn't an advantage, right...."

Spot on again!

You aren't doing a very good job at sticking to what you promise... and this is a huge problem with players not trusting what you claim. You just can't hide your actions as well as you can say things.

Actions do speak louder than words, and the large majority of players don't want Micro transactions, the unfairness they bring, the gambling they insight AND EOC (by more than the first two).

Alot of the older players that fed the business the money over the years, should have a say in the matter. They've been saying, and most have quit within 3 weeks after EOC update.

They still want to play Runescape though, and their voices should still be heard... not dis-cluded or shot down by new players that merely have a different opinion (and have aided much less in the support of runescape).

@Nephi Pk

From the content of your post to me it's clear that you have trouble entering into civil debate, and you are unable to see that your's is not the only valid opinion. Have fun getting along in the real world acting like that.

@DaddyMike

Actually DaddyMike, Rushing and PJing has been an extreme increase since EOC. I know you are saying probably, which is a good thing... to always be careful of.

From what I've read, let alone my friends and my opinion... the biggest group of people don't like EOC for PVM as well as PVP.

I actually enjoyed the PVP for awhile, but over a few weeks I just couldn't enjoy it anymore as it was less dynamic (despite the increase of button mashing options). I found that I was getting easy and unfair koes based on who attacked who first. (Note this was mostly for my lower lvl pures).

I enjoy PVM as a relaxing and adventuristic part of the game, Yet I've been pking since 2,000 and I completely disagree from my own experience as well as the feelings of my of my RS friends.

I have 1 friend who likes EOC, or atleast last time I saw him on he was telling me about it.

I had a friend's list that was full (lol before some cleaning) of which all but him didn't like EOC, most of my friends were not PKers.
