For the listening to your players aspect, there's not much interaction now, it's just where someone at Jagex posts something and we respond. There's no specific answers to most of our questions because IF there's a response it's a blanket type of answer which doesn't answer the specifics.
I still believe better quality testing in every aspect that you can look into (lag, economy, low vs high level, slow vs high end computers, etc) should still be done prior to any updates or new content. It's obvious the current standards of testing prior to updates and new content aren't cutting it due to the amount of fixes needed afterward and the amount of time waiting for the fixes (such as buffing monsters).
As for the botting, I've seen it slow down in some areas so that I'm thankful for. However, there's still plenty of bots around. Especially ones who are trading things or muling, such as at the Lumbridge Lodestone and Lumbridge Cellar near the bank chest in w79. They may not be botting in a way that gets them caught but even with reporting nothing is being done to them, and the 2 week botters are caught even less. I still see the same ones every day and it's frustrating beyond belief!
Other games I've played have GM's actually come to see what the problem is and do something about them right away. Even player mods in game that I've seen don't report even when they see something that's against Jagex rules, I thought they were supposed to help somehow. I've seen people talking about muling their items or gold to their other accounts who act as banks for all their accounts, and the Pmods ignore them or even admit they do that too. I thought if we had other accounts, they weren't supposed to interact with each other, let alone hoard gold/items. My main gripe about all this is that I'd like to know/see within 2 weeks that something is actually being done to those who do wrong, rather than wait months on end (6+ months) on the off chance they'd be punished.
