Thanks for understanding. I wish that you all had experience how pking was in the RSC. The catching, the 3 hit system, so amazing so genius of Andrew. But he closed it, I seriously can't understand.

I hope Mark Gerhard will reopen for F2P and add xp boost!

Someone lmk when mmg resigns please. Might be in ten years maybe more, but ill wait, i just want someone to actually take over rs and run it properly lol i feel abused. Well done......... Why not make a poll and see how many people are for eoc and how many are against.... Would that of not been the sensible thing to do, all your months of testing and you didnt see the rage in the forums? So nowwwww your gna communicate better with us, do me a favour.


Ok i know what people are going to say 'ahh shut up you nostalgic weirdo who doesnt like change!'... Well maybe i dont like change or maybe, just maybeeee id like to be given the option. Well i have had my say, havent played since eoc. And in all the years i have played rs, im pretty sure this is my first post lol tyvm. :|

This is just a few ***** from a guy who's been playing for about 7 years now and has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. Not going to lie, this is the ugly.

Now, personally, I didnt find EOC to be a big deal. I've played WoW, and anyone who has played WoW before knows that EoC is just a downgraded version of WoW's combat. Now im not trying to implement the argument that RS is copying WoW (I believe they try to but this isn't the current argument). What Im saying is I personally dont find EoC that bad. Though, for a hardcore RS fan who has never stepped outside their comfort zone into another MMO and has never dealt with anything other then click on an enemy and then just rapidly clicking their food (once again, im not trashing the old combat, I liked it that way) its probably a hard adjustment.

I am strongly in favor of opening a 2k6 or 2k7 server. And the best way I think you could do that, is by only letting accounts made is 2006 or 2007 play in such server. That way you know veteran players and not bots would be flooding it and would allow for many people to be nostalgic and have fun in this game again.

Also, on the subject of Micro-charging. Did you guys ever possibly come to think that if you made new, fun, interesting content that everyone can do, instead of content that breaks the game, uninterests people, and tailoring whatever decent content you do make towards people who botted their skills up to whatever numbers they needed to do these "grandmaster quests", then people wouldn't quit and you wouldn't have to micro-charge. I will personally never spend a sent on your micro-charging as it is a ridiculous way to siphon money from the players.

My Suggestions

-2k6/2k7 server for those who played in those years.
-Quests for players of both low, medium, and high levels alike. Not just these "Grandmaster Quests"
-No garbage skills like Dungeoneering that aren't real skills. I honestly choked on my soul when I found out this was a real, and very bad new ski

-Please dont shove micro-charging down my throat, I dont like it popping up every 2 seconds.

Please consider what we want. If it really is our year, then please take in what every player has to say and consider it. Though I doubt anyone with authority will ever read this.

Good to hear that jagex are taking lessons from the past years forward. I understand why micro-charging was necessary (doing a business management degree so it makes perfect sense!), and the EOC was a big change but after a while of having to adjust to it I can see how it has enriched combat for players (albeit with further tweaking still needed - LRC mining is impossible without half an inventory of rocktails now!!).

It's probably an extremely minor concern, but one of the updates I've been waiting for since...god, when was temple of light released?!...whenever it was, is Mourning Ends Part 3 and the continuation/conclusion to the elf lands storyline! It was one of the greatest storylines in the game in my opinion (tied with the Mahjarrat) and the graphical capabilties seem to be there...really hope 2013 bring us something in this realm...

bring back RSC... ive been playing this game since 2002 on various different accounts and i missed the reopening of rsc :S please repopen it one last time :) rsc is my favorite part of this game and one of the only reasons i still play (rs2 or eoc w/e its called.) is to salvage some of the great memories i had while playing rsc.
